I knew it!! I could tell someone was amiss with Mercury. Our fax machine is having a severe attitude problem, orders are being shipped incorrectly, customers are ordering the wrong thing and changing their orders "mid stream", my friggin phone is ringing off the hook with miscellaneous little problems from all over the country.... AHHHH!! What's next?IP: Logged |

Same here. We're enetring info into our systems and it hasn't taken...the ATMs were down at my bank...my coworker was in a Bank that got robbed yesterday (dunno if that's Merc Rx though)...e-mails are just the basis for a lot at work lately...people are changign their info...my voicemails from Fri. at work didn't show till yesterday...I'm getting blamed for other's people's crap (nice that anyone would stand up for me, including my supervisor, right?)...and the list goes on and on...IP: Logged |

Did I mention how great it is to be a Virgo (or Gemini) during Merc. Retrograde....? ::screaming and smacking computer screen:: And of all times to have to take a Literature exam that required me to write 3 darn essays...in 2 HOURS! And those of us who are Mercury-ruled also feel the effects a week earlier than everyone else, and a week after.... GRrrrrrr.... Two weeks, only two more weeks Ok, I'm done venting now ------------------ -K "Most people love with restraint As if they were someday to hate We hated gently, carefully As if we were someday to love"-Venus Trines at Midnight IP: Logged |

Oh... well, I have natal Merc Rx, and these periods work quite well for me, usually... generally it's _other_ people's problems with machines and mechanical failures that slow me down. I often spend Merc Rx periods being that calming phonecall or contingency person in the middle of someone else's crisis!Flipside: I'm just mucked up the rest of the year when it isn't Merc Rx, so count yer blessings!!!! I'm enjoying this retrograde. Past clients, that I sometimes wondered about, have made appointments to see me. A project that I was beginning to wonder would ever happen looks like happening. And an out-of-print book that I been trying to obtain for quite some time arrived this morning.I've never noticed adverse affects with Merc retro, or maybe I'm just insensitive. Most get me wrong at work on the phone. Yesterday someone's dad on the phone: Mercy:" so you'll take your son with you?" Dad:" ok...thanks!" Mercy slowly repeated:" no but you will take YOUR SON with you aren't you?" Dad:" oh..thanks!" Mercy:" wwwellokeee never mind!" It was like that all day yesterday! But then I guess one dear young lady had troubles with the phone line today. She called us, I picked up, she told me her surname and after my colleague (who heared the name) remarked something on top of it I bursted out in hysterical laughter (her surname is a great word of fun for us at work). I did not let her hear it, I had put the phone on hold immediately but I screamed with tears in my eyes of laughing:" she is still on hold poor thing, I am scared to take her back on now!" She has has been waiting long and because I didn't tell her why I put her on hold it was nasty! When I got it back together, took a deep breath an took her back on the phone I said sorry for waiting and she didn't mind. Ow she must have thought....But my colleague and I were able to oil up our laugh wrinkles! *sighs and giggles* IP: Logged |

Mercy...I totally hear you. It's been like that for me too, especially over the last two days. Even the darn permanent crown the dentist put in last week already cracked. I am just having a heck of a time. Seems like no one is making sense, phones are jammed, computers are crazy. LOL...whew....and our annual shareholders meeting is on Thursday of next week. I wonder what verbal flubs will come out then? LOLHave a good one! IP: Logged |
