okay, for one we're both taurus moons. ahh, i've always dreamed of a taurus moon love.. and we do get along very nicely there.. there is a comfort, a groundedness and calm understanding that i need that i don't come across often.. so that's nice.. can't really see any problems with that EXCEPT taurus moon squares my aquarian sun/merc/mars.. but i am used to that dynamic in my own self, so i'm ASSUMING i'll be able to handle that well. and i prefer it to what my last relationship was: he was also aquarius sun/merc/venus, with no taurus in his chart, so he often discounted my feelings. i think i'd prefer a mate who resonates with my emotions moreso. or does anyone think this dynamic is just asking for trouble?

okay, next is all of the following: BOTH of our respective north nodes AND saturns are conjunct in virgo. so our life purpose/direction/lessons would be very similar, right? and that is good.. right?

but then.. he is also a pisces sun. so is that dangerous, maybe, since his sun conjuncts my (and his) south node? i would think this might possibly counteract the positive north node alliance by making it too easy to fall into old, piscean patterns..?

but then AGAIN (and this is a paradox that really confuses me in my own chart), both of our junos are in pisces. so even tho our south nodes are there, we actually NEED piscean energy in our love relationships. oh, and i have venus in the 12th too.. so maybe the pisces stuff is good afterall?!?

if anyone has insight, please share! this really confuses me. it's hard to know what weight to put on individual dynamics. and i promised myself before i got serious about anyone again, i would study their chart very thoroughly. i learned my lesson!

do you find the tension to be as annoying as i do? gawd.. i'm realizing that maybe this boy is sort of boring.. he's sooo sweet, and i feel so comfortable with him, but he just doesn't fascinate me mentally. seems there's always this dichotomy. i either go for super earthy guys, who are wonderful in their own steady ways, but don't excite me mentally, or i go for really mentally intriguing and interesting guys who have little to no real sense of stability to them. gawd. guess the solution is to find someone who's got the similarily frustrating polarities [not necessarily polarities in the true sense of the word, but like squares and such in astrology] within them. then at least there's more of a potential for balance.

i cant think of the word but 'silly' comes to mind. surely you should give him a chance and not base your opinion on something that he had no say in.

wellll.. may i ask, what is your favourite colour? and why? and what is your least favourite colour?

think about that for a second.. now, would your preferrence maybe have something to do with how that particular colour makes you feel? or are you being prejudiced by discounting other colours?

maybe this isn't the best example.. my little boy's chatting my ear off right now so i'm having trouble concentrating, but i'm trying to illustrate the difference between the possiblity that we are effected by subliminal, unseen forces, energies, feelings, whatever, and actually choosing to be biased. or something.

i'm getting to know this boy, and he is fitting his chart as far as i can see. i have been studying astrology for years, and so am well acquainted with many of the dynamics and interplays within a chart (tho nowhere near all of them.. always learning). if you can't tell from my initial post, i was rather enthusiastic about getting to know him.. but now some energies have been confirmed (by experience, and only supported by astrology) that make me feel less of an excitement. really, it has very little to do with astrology, except that i have something of a map, let's say, that i can look at to trace the patterns that are happening in REAL life.. i don't expect you to understand that, cuz you haven't studied astrology, as far as i can tell. and realistically, you will not get your answers, or be satisfied unless you do study it. in my opinion.
