I agree completely with Aphrodite!!!

I am sorry that you are in the middle of such an awful battle astrotruth. For anyone to either make threats or malicious remarks towards you based on your beliefs is just insane and intolerable. The same holds true for anyone here that wishes to hack into the email and make threats under an assumed name. That is cowardly and disgusting.

I hope you stay astrotruth!

"Arm yourselves, and be ye men of valour, and be in readiness for the conflict; for it is better for us to perish in battle than to look upon the outrage of our nation and our altar." Yes, sometimes the "establishment" has to assess it's foundations, and make modifications if necessary. If anything (Astrology included) ever stops evolving, it's essentially DEAD.

So, feel free to express your spin on things, whethor they conform to the mainstream or not.

Keep up the good work, Shaun.

in conjunction with what lioneye says, i thought this is great symbolism:

Hello, Galen! I finally found out my birth time and i would like to ask if me and my wife are going to stay together for the rest of our lifes.

Thank so very much, Viktor.

Dear Viktor,

You are too young to ask a question involving "forever" in regard to your marriage. You should take each day as it comes, love your wife as best you can, and thank God for all His gifts. The Sabian symbol for the degree of Libra rising when you asked this question is highly symbolic of your question and what it means. The symbol is "a butterfly preserved and made perfect with a dart through it." This symbolizes beauty frozen in time, not allowed to change or progress. Do not do this. Allow your marriage to change and develop. Do not expect it to remain as it is now or you will be disappointed. Do not think of everlasting anything because all things change as they should. Otherwise, we would petrify into something unpleasant, like the preserved butterfly, merely beautiful externally but rotten at the core. Your marriage will be as good as any marriage can be, and your love can be eternal, no matter what happens in your earthly life. Be happy in knowing this much, which is more than most can have.

Peace and Light,

Galen

astrotruth,

i would agree that your views are definately welcome here.. many of us have differing ideas about astrology. just cuz yours happen to be sorta radical does not mean they are not deserving of investigation and interest!

you have been respectful and very generous with your knowledge and time.. and it is very much appreciated.. please do not be discouraged by one member/lurker/whoever who obviously feels threatened and insecure in his/her own self enough to send you polluting emails. and PLEASE stop erasing all of your information!! i haven't had time to study it (pregnant and mama to a 3 year old, and all) but i really want to!! if possible, could you send the info about my chart to me (via email)? i'm hoping you have it copied somewhere.

please know that your efforts are not in vain.

Hi Astrotruth,
I don't know what's been going on, with you and this site. I've been away but i am so glad you found Lindland and i welcome you to Lindaland as well. I'm sure there are some people who might find it hard to buy into a different perspective concerning astrology, especially when they have been used to a certain method. I think that's just human nature but it is important to be open to all sugestions. A lot of times those who have the view that is the minority are the one who are here to teach us. Welcome to Lindaland Astrotruth.

Yes, thanks Shaun for all your generosity and info.

I think it's in StarSigns where Linda talks about the power of negative words, and suggests ways in which we can try to cancel their power out -- often by mentally or verbally saying "cancel" for each harsh word! But certainly it's a human problem -- balancing how and when to stand up for ourselves, when harm has been done. I think we've all learned a thing or two from the email incident.

I personally have always found that strong self-expression elicits strong reactions -- so be it. More often than not, it's that old case of "it ain't what you do, it's the way that you do it." Let us hope that we all continue to be open-minded toward the truth, in all her costumes and moods.

Peace,
Lunargirl
