i went to the site, clicked on 'free charts' but loads of choices can up so i was wondering if anyone can advise me on which one to do. ie 'personal portrait' or 'forecast' or...???

So much for coincidences, now to research. Like others here, I fully recommend you start to do charts, because that is the only way you may prove or disprove astrology's veracity or value to yourself. Computer astro charts are quite accurate -- although I have found that some programs differ very slightly in their results -- must be a slight difference in some decimal point somewhere. Also, with so much going on at any birth, a person's recorded birth time may be off by some minutes, but cataloguing and doing calculations for later major events can help refine and correct slight errors such as these.

I was a skeptic about astrology until I decided to give it a fair go and study up on it. I suggest you gather birthdate (and time, if you can get it) information about your family, friends, teachers, or other important figures in your life, you may then weigh the possibility that something in your "chart" is attracted or in conflict with something in someone else's "chart".

This transit varies for everyOne. Most everyone comes out a completely different, and unique individual grounded in a firm vision of who they are after this transit. Very amazing breakthroughs are typically achieved.

Like I said, it all depends on how invested you are. A book I suggest reading is Howard Sasportas' The Gods of Change: Pain, Crisis and the Transits of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto . A few lines of text is a good primer, but nothing replaces pure faith in experience and the living into the future with Uranus.
