Has anyone heard the theory that you can tell what time someone is born by the time that they habitually wake up? I was talking to my aunt and she was telling me that she thought that the two were connected because she had observed this in my cousins. I have also observed that in myself. No matter what kind of sleep pattern I try to establish I will inevitably go back to sleeping until one pm or therabouts. And it's not that I don't like morning, dawn is one of my Favorite times to be outside. Even if I have established a pattern of going to bed at nine o clock pm for days and waking up at six or seven am I will always get tired at around three or four and if I don't force myself to stay awake until nine, I will revert to my old familiar sleep habits. What does everyone else say? :chat
Less to do with what I was talking about, but can anyone else feel the distinct change from night to morning without looking outside or hearing the birds chirp?

I don't know about that. I was born at 9:19 am. and I definitely don't like getting up that early. If I don't have to work I could sleep til noon and be happy. I think it has more to do with your sign. There are nocturnal signs and daytime signs (diturnal?) I believe if you have your Love Signs book it breaks it all down for you in there.

By that theory, I wouldn't get up until 3:26 in the afternoon. I prefer 5:30 AM myself.

I know a Cancer who falls asleep at exactly 9pm every night, she is on the cusp of Leo though..As a rule I find Air and Fire Signs do prefer the daytime for everything including intimacy...a major issue between my Libra and me the Taurus. I prefer the nightime for everything. Yes everything does relate back to sex..I suppose Freud (another Taurus) was right.

Ah, but Carl Jung was a LEO.

This theory isn't true in my case, however sleeping until 3:40PM sure would be nice.

Interesting...I always heard that a person is most active around the time of day or night they were born. It's definitely true for me. I was born at 1:56 AM and am almost always awake then despite the fact that I have to get up at 7:00 AM. I am most tired in the late afternoon/early evening but once I get past that I'm up till the wee hours of the morning. It can get tricky, because I love the dawn and late night equally which would indicate I should do my sleeping in the afternoon. That's not workable with my lifestyle though, so I usually wind up getting about 4 hours a night...oh well.

Vampire!

Waaal... can't say I'm a morning person at all, Aries b. 4:19 AM... but I've often gone to bed at that time!

Which reminds me, time to crash immediately.

I was born around 3 PM and am a Gemini... but I'm a night person and am most active in the evenings.

If we're going to talk about the most active time of the day relating to birthtime, yeah - I was born @ 9:43 PM and am most active early in the night (that being "early in the night" for me).

If left to my own devices, I'll go to sleep about 4 AM and wake-up around 10 or 11 AM.
But, then, I'm a college student
