which is a trine?

sun in aries 25 degrees - sun in sag 0 degree?

or

sun in taurus 1 degree - sun in leo 28 degrees?

I assume your talking about a realationship chart. If so I use +/- 1 degree for all aspects. In na natal chart I use +/- 10 degrees.

So in this case neither are trines.

Just my way of calculating it.

i'm talking about theory: how aspects are or should be read.

so if sun in taurus and sun in leo are 1 degree off each other, is that then a trine? this would be an aspect by orb, right?

but sun in aries and sun in sag several degrees off each other form an aspect by element.

so how does or should one read aspects?
