LOL....Lioneye, I know that you feel compelled to stick up for a fellow Lion, but sometimes is kind of fun to sit back and watch the fire signs duke it out.

Huh Lost Leo.....I still think you damn cool, but I can see where Aphrodite is coming from and I think, that in a sense you do as well.

I think you have admitted that there was a tendency to use people, WE ALL have been guilty of that charge. At least I know that I have, even when I didn't think I was doing it.

BUT, once we are aware of our effect on others and we start to put ourselves in their shoes, to actually FEEL the hurt that we inflict, then we are compelled to change.

If your partners are just as willing and they understand upfront, what it is all about, then there is no dishonesty. It is when we seek to gratify ourselves by any means that we build up that nasty karma that comes back to slap us back into reality and break our hearts in return.

Maybe your right, either way, I'm over it...

Her action is typical of Aries women when they first know me... almost all I have met in my life have despised me when they first get to know me... then a year later they are hunting me down & chasing after me...

I was hoping to find an Aries man to have the most passionate and honest relationship of my life with, since he would be the ideal sign for me. But I just never seem to click with them. I've tried. Too much fire I guess.
It's not easy to find one that's single either! They're in pretty hot demand.

Ohhh, I see, so since I have an Aries moon, does that mean I will be hunting you down and chasing you? Maybe, but then what would I do if I caught you?

I too have really wanted to find an Aries woman... But unfortunately there has not been one that has "caught my eye"

I hear the lovemaking is phenomenal between Leo/Aries, and very much look forward to that experience one day... plus the whole honesty thing is really attractive to me too.

With "my girl" I have to be TOTALLY honest, I tell her everything, as far as I'm concerned she's me, ya know, so she might as well know... and from what I gather Aries's are also very honest and upfront with everything... no secrets or holding back there.

But nonetheless, I haven't found one that's intellectually & physically attractive...damn!

Leo, an Aries will tell it the way they see it. To be honest... I haven't met but maybe one or two that I didn't get along with.

I've always "thought" a Pisces would be my ideal. One with a strong Mars placement. I dated one very briefly... I mean VERY briefly. He moved (damn military)!

Anyway... I think I could be content with one. Just sit around yacking about everything... drinks in hand, and a total relaxation. No worries about ticking the other one off. Ahhhh...

Oh, I suppose we'd miss out on a whole whack of meaty life lessons if we just coasted through life with our trines, hey?
Maybe we have to go through all that other BS so that when we finally meet the "ideal" one, we appreciate it that much more.

That is true Lioneye,

My most intense relationships have been with a Pisces, Virgo and a jerk of a Gemini then I met the Leo. I haven't met too many Aries men, but the ones I have met are very pushy, even more so that you Lions.

I think a square can be successful if you share many of the same aspects and planetary influences, or forget it.

Seriously, I think one must really look deep into the other person and realize that the stresses are really hard to iron out. I have dated more than my share of Virgo's and it just doesn't work. There is an attraction, but the influence of the square is just too hard to overcome. My ex Virgo had a fair share of fire: Venus, Mars and Pluto in Leo, and I have a fair share of Earth, but that didn't solve the stresses.

It can be fun to follow the "Opposites attract" rule, until you hurt too many of them or they hurt you.

It's true. But that won't keep someone from forging ahead anyway, if they meet someone who peeks their interest, even if they ARE a square or opposition. There's something that takes over all the reasoning faculties, and even if you KNOW it's going to be a challanging mix, you'll go for it anyway.

You just have to live your life and take your lumps.

When you're ready for the "real thing", it'll come along. But not until you're done putting yourself through the rough stuff. Heck, that's what helps us to know OURSELVES, is our more challanging relationships.

Don't you find that when you're under the most strain and circumstances are at their least harmonious, is when you come to some very absolute conclusions about yourself and a how you feel about certain things in life?

We need to be tested, and test others. We need each other....oh oh... i feel a song coming on....People, who need people, are the luckiest people... ok, sorry. No, I'm not drunk.

I agree, but only to a point. People can make the same mistakes all they want. Astrology gives us a picture into ourselves and into others.

To me, only a fool falls for the same trick over and over. Maybe they want to appear optimistic, brave or gallant, but the truth is, there are "squares and oppositions" for a reason. Yes, some will work out, but more often that not, it doesn't work out. That is why they are square and that is why there are vast chapters written about them.

BUT, there will always be someone wanting to prove them wrong and wanting to prove that the impossible can happen. Me? Well, I was there, but then again, A true sag only needs to knock their head against the wall a few times before realizing the wall aint gonna break under the cranium, no matter what the optimism ratio is.

So, keeping that in mind, one must ask "Do I make this relationship an experiment to prove that it can be done? Knowing he / she and I are so incredibly different and have nothing in common, even our daily habits are off. What about the other persons feelings?

At what part to we take stock in astrology and at what part do we throw it out the window because we do not like being told "no"?

I don't have a clue Proxi. You should go and find some Scorp and make him happy

Yep, it was a slow day today and yesterday and...... Well, not really slow... it's just once you've been doing this for so long, it becomes routine...

Lion, you are the funniest thing!

I think Pidaua is right... when do we say "ENOUGH"!

You all mentioned squares and opposites... but what about me and those Gems?!

Good point, 1scorp. The inconjuncts and semi-sextiles. I seem to have a thing for them myself.
When do we say "enough!"? That's simple. When a person actually comes along who actually IS astrologically compatible, and is actually single, straight, good looking, good character, sexy...etc. oh, and it helps if they're interested too.

I personally haven't found such a person yet.
But a semi-sextile or inconjunct with all kinds of other great contacts between you can be pretty sweet too.

Bah.
The Scorp that I want doesn't want me.
Eh.
The above guy's nice, though -
as much as my Neptune may rail against it, it's betta to live reality than to focus on illusion and wishful thought.

Prox, what's your "Allstar" line-up again?
Pisces sun, Aqua moon, and what else?

His Sun and Venus will like your moon. Actually, Sun to Moon conjuctions are one of the most commonly found aspects among married couples.
Good Venus to Moon contacts bring strong feelings of affection as well.

So you're off to a good start.

Mars to Sun contacts can go either way. It definately brings passion, but how it's expressed depends on other stuff. Passion can thrill or kill. Know what I'm saying? Picking up what I'm laying down?

LE -

My run-down:
Sun Pisces
Moon Aqua
Asc Scorpio
Venus Taurus
Mars Leo
(NN Leo, too - I'm an incredibly fixed Fish)

I hear ya on the Sun/Mars contacts - so far, they've added nice spice
We have a ridiculous amount in common, too - down to odd little phrases that we thought that only we each (respectively) said (he even says "fantabulous").
It's pert dern cool.

Lioneye, thank you very much. If I could open up my little smiley holder right now, I'd put up a groovy hug; as I cannot, I'll just put

sthenri - Yeah, he's really very cuddly & touchy (in a good way), not something I'd off the bat expect from an Aqua.
Thank you for the feedback

Regarding Squares, as a Taurus I really don't know where I would be without my Scorpios, Leos or Aquarius people.

Without Scorps I would still be wrapped up in pride, without Leos I would still be a virgin, without Aquarius I wouldn't have any values.

Sure I like them in small doses but my life wouldn't have any challenges, the cardinal ones are great and easy going for me, except for Aries which like to give me a little jolt every now and then. If you require a great deal of independence I think more squares and oppositions help because if things are easier you want to be together all the time which can stifle creativity.

Aries is a very demanding lover, and romantic but I find Venus in Pisces to be more the grand refined lover, expensive dinner, wine, where Venus in Aries just likes the room to be dark. Both are demanding compared to Leos. Aries are always attractive to me, but then I have Venus in Aries. Lots of times you can't tell a book by it's cover, there may be sparks and no fire, or vice versa. Pisces are just too slow, I mean how long can you hold hands and rub someone's neck? 4 hours? I had a 4 hour neck and bodyrub from a Pisces, great right? I fell asleep. If you are a Pisces, go for it.

Natasha, you're such a funny girl. "Without Leos I'd still be a virgin" Ahh, what does that say about Leos? (nothing we didn't already know)

Prox
Him (thanks for learnin me that bold/italic thing, BTW)
Sun, Aqua
Moon, Taurus
Merc, Capricorn
Venus, Aqua
Mars, Pisces

You
Sun, Pisces
Moon, Aqua
Merc, ? Pisces?
Venus, Taurus
Mars, Leo (yay for him)

Holy mackeral! You've got reciprocal Venus/Moon contacts! That's VERY good, Prox. How exciting! Why aren't you wrapped around him right this minute!
This could be the father of your children and the man you grow old with. How does THAT grab ya? And that's not all! Also....

sun/moon conjunction = VERY Good
sun/mars conjunction = Passion
Merc/Venus Trine = Simular interests & tastes

That's the good. Don't know his birth time, hey? Ascendant contacts can really make or break a relationship, believe it or not.

Just got done talking w/ him.
This is so silly - it's been only 3 days, but it seems like it's been weeks.
We saw each other today again - went to go see "Finding Nemo" w/ a couple other people. We got back to my house and...well, lemme just say that it feels fantastic to be able to make a guy that one likes nearly collapse from faintheadedness (only nearly b/c he sat down) w/o going at all below the belt.
I nearly walked into two cars today while crossing different streets.

Re: his Asc: Given his behavior, I'd bet a dollar that it's something in water.
Hm. I still would feel weird asking him his birth time (astrology's kinda like porn for me - I'm still a little ashamed of it) - if you e-mail me, I could e-mail you back a pic of him. Do you think that you could try your hand at guessing given his other info?

Done writing now.
Too tired to even make complete, coherent sentences.
