Hi, Shaun.
I'm trying to get a picture for you to look at, but I don't have a scanner or a digi-cam. We have a scanner at work, so I may see if I can use it...Now, if I could just choose a damn pic!
I think I'd rather email it to you though.

How ya doin!?
I have a picture that I'm taking to work with me today, and I'm going to try to figuer out the scanner...(seems to be difficult to use, according to the people in my office)
So, wish me luck!

I don't have all that many pics of myself cuz I hate the way I look in pictures. Not photogenic at all. At least I don't think so.
Maybe I'm too hard on myself, but I really do look better 3 dimensional.
Too bad I don't have a hologram machine!

I know nothing about judging peoples signs from their looks. From what I can see... and I'm sure I'm off on this one (as usual)... you "sort of" resemble a pisces friend of mine. Although, I have no clue on her Asc., so not much help really

You kiddin me? I've been wondering if I may be totally out to lunch on my birth time, and I'm really a Pisces rising. That would put Virgo on my descendant, and I sure seem to have a thing for them virgos. The one in the pic, we had just met him and his Leo bud there at the campsite. The Virgo kind of automatically latched on to me! What's with that?
Anyway. Yeah, Pisces rising. Interesting concept.

Thank you for your compliments. You really know how to win a Leo over, don't ya!?

Libra rising...ya think? I've leaned toward that one too. That's the problem. I can see myself in most of the possible ascendants, but none of them beyond any doubt.
Is that Libra? Unable to make a firm decision one way or the other, because of too many variables and unknowns?

I am seeing more of that one though, now that I'm zooming in on it and reading more about it.
When I look over some of my old posts, I see how I play devil's advocate alot, tossing the opposite opinion into the conversation just to remind people that there are two sides to every coin. Even when I don't have any personal interest in the subject. Just can't help myself sometimes.
You know, one of my pet peaves is when someone states their opinion as the God spoken truth, not open to discussion. I just have to pick at them when they do that. Like, if someone says..."PT Cruisers are the ugliest cars ever released. What the hell were they smokin?" I'll have to remind them that they've sold over 22 million of them in the last 6 years, so some people obviously like them. ERGO, they're not ugly. Just to you. So shut your pie hole. (bare in mind that I don't care for themself ! )
So is that a Libra trait? Or am I just an a-hole?

astrotruth, how can tell so easily when photos can be so different? My look changes from month to month and season to season, I wouldn't even know which photo to post because they are all so different. Plus I am always wearing accessories.

If I were to post a photo, which one would I post? See what I mean?

Natasha, it doesn't matter what hair style you have, or your makeup, or what you're wearing. YOU are still the same person underneath it all. Same eyes, shape of face, expression on your face, etc.
Even if you post a pic from when you were just a kid, that'll work too!
(in fact, possibly even better, because you haven't been influenced by the thing called life all that much yet, so the sign feature manifestations are still in a relatively pure form)

Astrotruth, my details are 12th June 1978, and my parents think I was born at ~17:30, however I personally think I fit Pisces rising which on my b'day would've been after 23:30. I think this is plausible because labour could've taken a while and everyone too happy to note the actual time of my first breath. I don't mean to take any of your time, as we don't know each other at all, but I've been through stages where knowing my ASC has been very important, and then the Pisces clicked - the first line in Linda's book was something like: "Astrology, mysticism, and voodoo may seem like hocus pocus to the average male, but to the Pisces rising it is considered an everyday tool in descibing their complex feelings" etc. I think I'm way off, but it fit regardless, as I particularly love numerology, and I believe Astrology inherently, but personally think there are too many factors to consider that I don't use it much, but keep it in my "mental plane".

So if you could just try to figure my ASC, I'd be sooooo grateful

Hey, I don't mean to put you out, but while we are on the subject, can I have your personal opinion as to what you think my asc. is??? According to my birth cerificate, I am Virgo rising, but sometimes people sense an air of Leo about me. I don't know, any help would be appreciated, and I'd love you forever, thanks!

Thank you so much for all of your work astrotruth (I think an appropriate nic) and for the compliments (did you read Meaning.doc?). Did you notice I had a Virgo moon? This could be why you keep thinking I have Virgo rising, but I don't "feel" it, the same with scorp. I don't really have any power or intensity, and my nose is small and "round". I personally think the time must be off - my dad's a Leo and mum's a capricorn, and both are way off astrology. They think I'm crazy for thinking it so much and devoting so much time to my numerology program. I can sometimes "go off" talking about esoteric matters and trying to help people (kind of like you, but less deep I guess ). My upbringing was great. I never asked for much, but usually got it when I did. I had a lot of fun and usually breezed through school, though my grades weren't spectacular. I love physics and maths, but thought there was no money or occupations available, sometimes I regret this choice, but I chose IT for it's possibilities of career and the fact that I could use it to help the world, even though physics could've given longer term solutions. I don't know if you're into numerology, but my numbers 30 and 12 describe me very accurately. I was also born in Melbourne, Australia.

Thank you so much for all of your time, I truly don't want to take much of it, but could you consider Pisces as a possibility - and maybe ignore what my parent's said about 1730? I truly think they didn't care as it was just a "time" to them.

Go to the page where mine is...it's in this thread further up, and then you have to sign up for a membership there.
In Proxi's thread, called Sign Faces, page 2, she describes how to insert a pic, but basically you just upload it to the "shoebox" page, then copy the url of that page and paste it between [img]and [/img]. (No spaces)
I think you need to have your own server in order to make the actually pic appear in the thread, but we can get to it the other way too.
