i m a big hp fan.
i think there is a delicate link btween hp & astrology.
take the 4 houses of hogwarts.
GRYFFINDOR- obviously LEO (bravery, courage & all that).
all right ; u get harry potter .
SLYTHERIN- sounds like SCORPIO(determination,etc )
no harm meant guys ; i realllllly like draco malfoy .
RAVENCLAW- can possibily be AQUARIUS _wit, learning)
cho is from R .so maybe that is what the attraction is all about.(7-7 relationship).
HUFFLEPUFF-i hate to say this but i think it is most likely to be TAURUS(patient ,loyal, hardworking).
but at least we had pretty boy diggory.

post uur messages & let me know what u think of this.

HARRY POTTER RULES.

Hello SB,

I haven't read any of the Harry Potter books but I've seen parts of the first movie. I'd be interested to know what you think ... if you had to apply one of the elements ... earth, water, fire and air to each one of the Hogwart Houses, which would you assign to each.

I don't know the houses well enough except I know Harry was in Gryffindor, wasn't he? I would have to assign fire to that house and you say Leo, so we're in agreement there, but don't you think they are more Aries like than Leo?

I'd like to know your opinion.

Love and Light,

Heidi (the only person in the world except Juniper who hasn't read Harry Potter)

Hi, I'm a big Harry Potter fan also! There are actually a bunch of websites on this subject, and it's cool to see it on this forum too. Have you noticed that some of the characters have actual birthdays cited throughout the books? Like Hermione's is in September, so she's probably a Virgo, and Harry is a Leo because his bday is July 1. And although she doesn't say so in any of the books, J.K. Rowling says Ron's birthday is March 1. And the twins' is in April, and they do seem like Aries, dont' they?

I've also seen websites where someone speculates about the birthdays of other characters... like Hagrid is probably a Sagittarius, Dumbledore is Aquarius, and snape is Taurus, and McGonagall is Taurus also. And they think Draco Malfoy is a Scorpio, but he seems more like a badly aspected Libra to me. (Although it would be interesting if he really is a Scorpio, since Scorpio's planet is the darkest, and Harry's ruling planet, the Sun, is the brightest.)

I really like this topic, and will certainly back to post more... people are kinda bugging me right now. Anyway, thanks for starting this topic!

Have you thought about what sun signs the new characters like Kingsley and Tonks might be?

Greeting All!

Heidi? Could you and juniperb scrunch over just a bit and make room for me?
Alas, I too am ignorant on the subject of HP.

My children are TOTALLY into Harry. I am inundated with pleas, ad nauseum, ad infinitum to sit down and watch the movies with them and read the books.
I'm starting to believe that if I don't give in soon I'll be an outcast in my own home!
Since they have been exposed to my (and Linda's) kind of majick all their lives, I AM starting to wonder if I should check out HP's kind!?!

Harry is definitely a Leo! I don;t want to give anything away, but if you read this last book, they mention that he was born at the END of July (and surprisingly another character was too...)

Cho was definitely not an Aquarius with all of the emotional outbursts...

...But I think you're on to something with each house being a different element.

hello everybody

glad to know u like this topic

dear hrj777 ,i really dont think GRYFFINDORS r aries, b'cause the terrific threesome (h,r&h) dont ram into things (pun intended) they sorta plan what they do b'fore, dont they .

the 4 houses represent the 4 elements ,

G-FIRE
S-WATER
R-AIR
H-EARTH

dear cappy179 ,i really dont think snape is a taurus me thinks he is more likely to be scorpio .

i think voldemort is most likely to be a taurus or a scorpio(he can transform into snakes cant he ).
these 2 r the signs which have the thirst 4 tremendous power.

guys ,PLEASE dont mention the characters or plot of OOP. pppppllllleeeeaaaasssseeee.

Wasn't this converstation started in Free For All?

Well anyway, I don't think Slytherin has anything to do with Scorpio. Snakes don't represent Scorpio. Although it's easy to get that wrong.

Scorpio is represented by an Eagle, Pheonix, Scorpion, and a gray lizard. Hufflepuff is clearly the Scorpion, because they're the Eagle symbol, and they're meant to be extremely loyal.

Gryfinndor is represented by a Lion which is clearly meant to represent OSIRIS, you could say that Harry Potter is a soul piece of OSIRIS becuase he to is a Leo.

Now of course Slytherin is represented by a Serpent which is meant to represent SET a.k.a SATAN. Now Set was the one that killed OSIRIS and cut his soul into 14 pieces and scattered them all over the world.

Now you would think that Slytherin is all evil. NO! Becuase the Sorting Hat constantly wanted to put Harry in Slytherin. The Serpent also represents WISDOM, ETERNITY, LOVE, and most of all POWER.

We all know that Satan used his POWER in a negative way, but if Satan had used his POWER in a positive way, he could've been one of the greatest people this world has ever known.

Do you see why Slytherin is extremely important and even more special? When J.K Rowling writes these messages, I'm pretty sure she has no idea of this seeding. But you can tell she certainly listens to her Higher Self anyway.

You guys that have not read HP need to find some time with a quiet corner, a nice comfy chair and get reading!!!! I'm totally serious - the movies, although great as they are, are NOT the books, read my friends read!
As to character signs, are there no Librans in there? Probably Neville!?!
Love the esoteric value of JKR's work, and really believe that the time is right, Aquarian age, to initiate our children to the 'real' magic in the world - opens them up for Lindaland later on! What do ya think?
