Having realised I put this question in the wrong thread, talk about dizzy, I shall begin it here

My dad was born at midnight on 15th/16th July 1934 in Paddington, London. On his birth certificate they decided to make it the 16th but on his chart should it be 15th at midnight or 16th, as I thought the latter would take him into the 17th, if that makes sense!
Any guidance would be much appreciated.

wow, he was born exactly at the stroke of midnight? it would be a good idea to have his chart rectified because often drs and nurses dont get the exact time. theres so much going on at a birth, after all ^_^

logic would tell me though that midnight is the switching over to the new day, at the stroke of midnight it is the moment the day is done and the new one starts, so id use the 16th. if it was but a second before though, it would be the 15th. its a good idea to get it astrologically rectified.

Hello,

It was noted at being dead on, they decided to go with the 16th as that was when things had calmed down. I'm not that keen on the number 16 but he hasn't done too bad. Thanks for your response

In documenting time and date, the day ends at 2359h or 11:59pm. This is true in the military, healthcare and computer land. The new day begins at 0000h or midnight. your dad was born on the 16th.
