I suddenly feel like i've turned around and everybody i know has suddenly moved on or disappeared from my "local neighbourhood"

I've lost my sense of direction and I no longer have a clear idea of exactly where it is i'm going or what i'm doing.

I suppose i'm after that old nebulous term of reassurance, although I know fundamentally there is none I currently feel very abandoned by just about everyone although i know its not their fault and generally worried about the future. My emotions are currently all over the place and i have to fight the urge to cry on average about every 3 minutes.

I'm aware i have saturn starting to kick my predominantly cancer/libra chart and recently pluto transited my lilith. Perhaps im just getting the backwash from having so many planets in cancer right now, i dont know. Just feeling more than a little out of faith right now.

Cognitive dissonance, what a kick in the head and heart. I hear you.

If your faith is shaken, for what it's worth, it seems like so very many people on this board have much faith in you, and care for you. I believe that you'll find your direction again.

I went through a big period of adjustment with my own CancerMoon in my 20s. I had to get used to it -- it's so different from all my outgoing, positive Aries energies, and idealized concept of my self. I admit I rejected that side of myself for a long time. But it has its place, and reasons. It is, however, an unruly beast! Sometimes the weepiness and grieving is the price we pay for all the good, creative, soulful things it also brings. It took me a long time to surrender to it, but now I accept that there are times in life to be emotional. I was brought up in an anglo-saxon "stiff upper lip" environment, and sometimes I still revert to thinking I'm all wet, when honestly, sometimes one just feels badly and needs to cry. Get it out of the system, howl it out loud. Sure beats punching a hole in the wall -- ouch!

On an astrological level, CancerMoon has a reputation as the Orphan of the Zodiac -- our challenge is to create our own home inside, or our own new family. I know I've been "left behind" by others many times -- I live in a town with 4 universities and many colleges, plus given an ongoing political situation, lots of people have left -- so lots of practice making friends again, and again, and again. But hey, maybe you too can seize this opportunity to move on, as well. If you can't move physically, do it mentally, or emotionally.

Very best to you,

{{{ hug }}}

Hang in there NW. There are people here who really care about you. There are also people here who might be "lost" themselves if you had not been there to help them through tough times.

N_wEvil, it`s a rugged path when we reach the lack of direction and abandonment portion of our lives. Perhaps the reassurance and faith you seek is within.

We look to others to guide us, comfort us, help us become aware that we exist. The time comes when we need to reach deep within the s-Elf and recognize who we truely are, what our needs are and how to fullfill our purpose. We alone are responsible for that and it can be a great feeling of loss when the time comes to start that probing 'within' journey. As an Aqua., I need Cancer to break thru the 'sufficent mental self' and open my emotions to a deeper spititual level to allow Saturn to aid me in this s-Elf discovery. Let this be a blessing and not a burden.

Love and lite to you Wevil and many S to guide you along your way!

I think 7 or 9 planets (?) are in water signs right now, especially w/ the moon being in scorpio, we're all feeling the burdons of emotion, if that's what you want to call it.

People come into our lives so we can learn something from them or teach them what we know. Some are here briefly and some hang around for a while. They're all here for a reason, good or bad. BUT, you must feel complete in your own silence, your own self. As a cancer moon this is probably one of your biggest challenges. You have to be able to be satisfied w/ just you, or you'll feel lost for a long time...

N_wEvil, I have the cancer moon too and I know where you are coming from. About having faith, here's what I know. Hang in there, it's going to get better. We are all interdependent and that can be a stressor but eventually everything will balance out, it's a question of waiting it out. I like to imagine we are on a pair of scales and one side is a little out of wack. Eventually those around you will come back and pick up their end of the friendship.

Take Care,
Natasha

Sorry to hear your having challenges in your life. Take care of yourself - rest relax, and keep your eyes wide open--something incredible is going to happen.Keep in mind that there is another side to what you are going through that you may or may not realize. When we are uncertain and confused - in reality that is the point in life when we have the MOST opportunities available to us. We are like blank canvases - we have a clearing for future creativity. We are in the "winter" cycle of our life. Everything seems dead- bare branches, cold air - lifeless. But deep beneath the earth's surface life is beginning to stir again and new growth is on the horizon. The opportunity for creativity is LIMITLESS the possibilities ENDLESS. (yin)

When everything is going well in our lives in reality that's the summer of our life - the accumulation of efforts - however it will not last. A new cycle must begin and good things must come to an end. Certainly it feels better to be at this point in a life cycle, but this is not where real creativity is at. Imagine someone getting an Academy award - this is in reality the END of creativity. The production is done, the film has been cut, edited, everything done behind-the-scenes and birthed by releasing it into the theaters. All of us achieve some sort of small success, or birthing. The tricky part is thinking this will last forever. If we say in this state, we get stagnant and don't move forward. Then we even get a little boring. Let's face it- has been movie stars that grasp at anything that gets themselves in the limelight are boring. We say to ourselves "what are they thinking-- move on-- when's your next movie" We are the same way.

So hang on - sorry to get heady about this topic. Things are going to get good!

I can definitely relate to not feeling like doing anything creative when your in a down mood. Try not worry about being productive or DOING anything. That's the next step --- the Spring when new growth starts. In this state your better off BEING -- There is a big difference between being and doing. Your comment "it's hard to DO creative work..." tells me that this is what your trying to do. When we are in the WINTER cycle, we look back on the past and want to have the feelings we had in the "other seasons." So we try to control an uncertain situation by DOING. We know DOING; it makes us comfortable and makes us feel worthwhile. As a result our anxiety and dissatisfaction grows - we want to be productive. Lord knows we can't have a "bad" period in our lives because then we will LOOK BAD to others and disappoint ourselves. But it happens to everyone. I've been there over and over again -- and still I try to control my uncertainty by doing - or demanding the universe for answers or a clear path, and on and on -- rather than being fully present to myself and the potenital of the circumstance I'm in. This is the point in time that conception has not taken place yet -- or the concept is not yet formed. If you can learn to accept this period and not judge it, you can find joy in it by "going with the flow." Time will shift your current circumstances.

Now is the time, relax, retreat, to pamper yourself. BE inspired by new ideas, explore your options, have a bit of fun, try on new situations, or be like us Northerners are in winter --- head to warmer weather for a vacation. Enjoy yourself now with no expectations.

Take Care,
Blessings
Kat

Sorry about being heady again - I swear I don't have any gemini in me.
