Thank you Randall for the invitation.

A bit about me....
I have been a practicing professional astrologer for twenty years. I have taught in Denver CO, but now confine most of my work to the web, where I have my own site www.lifeprints-for-living.com.

My interest is largely in personal (natal and returns) astrology, and I love working with complex charts and chart issues.

I also have 12 published astrology texts, 11 available on my site. The newest is called "Possibilities for a New Age: Intercepted Planets." It is a companion volume for "Heralds of a New Age: Interceptions." Contact me for information.

Intercpetions mark the charts of individuals born "outside the general consciousness." That means that your evolutionary level is one that was unknown and/or unrecognised in the envrionment of your birth. It is as tho you stepped back in time....to aide in bringing in the next age.

Interceptions have psychological issues attached. They also have spirtual gifts given, which reveal themselves "in their own time" or when the world is ready for them. They come with an internal "timing device" or somehing like a post-hypnotic suggeston. Consequently, it sometimes takes a long time to figure out "what you want to be when you grow up."

Hi Rev Alice
Good to see you here

I just took a very quick look at your site - very interesting. Just a quick question for now as I haven't had time to really look at your site in detail. I noticed that on your link to The Second-Eighth House as a Learned Value System. Libra ruling the 2nd with Aries ruling the 8th seems to be missing. Is there any reason for that? I'm only asking because...yes you guessed it...I have those placements
I look forward to chatting some more with you.
Sue

Welcome, welcome, Rev.

Your site looks quite interesting; although I have to say that, given your sign descriptions, I can't help but feel like I should somehow be much more impressive.

welcome! you like working with complex charts? hah! try looking at mine! im still trying to figure mine out, lol!

i am interested in your site, and will go there soon and check it out. i am very interested in the more unique things of astrology now... the finer details as it were. interceptions havent been answered adequately for me as of yet, so perhaps i will get my answers finally! thank you for giving the link.

again, welcome

~ana

ps what house system do you use? that obviously factors into interceptions. i have two intercepted houses in placidus, but in meridian all is as it should be. havent explored any of the others yet really, except a brief look at equal.

i wasnt sure about interceptions as some people born in extreme latitudes can have up to 6 intercepts. thats about the most ive heard of.

I thank you all for the welcome. I wrote a long reply to all the questions, but cannot find it on site. Anybody know why?

sometimes the board takes a while to show your replies for some reason. It's an intermittent tecchie problem that i still havent' worked out yet.

Check to see if the "last reply" date is about right next to the thread you wrote in - or try and get someone else to see if your post showed up

And sometimes the board just eats replies.
That's happened to quite a few of my longer ones...
How many "smilies" did you include in it?

i have lost a few posts

nowadays if it wont accept em cause they are too long, i hit the back button and my post is still there, so i cut and paste and post in two. its a good idea to right click and select 'copy' or highlighting and hitting cntl and c before posting. takes away a lot of heartache

Apparently, it didn't post for some reason, Alice.

Sorry....took me a bit to get back. I will break this up a bit, and try to answer everyone. Thanks so much to you all for the warm welcome.

Sue
No there is no reason except spaciness! Libra on 2 means that you are good at sharing, compromising, peacemaking ect. Negatively, you may claim what belongs to others as your own....or may have nothing that is entirely yours, but only a "share" of some properties.
In fact, Aries on 8 probably means that, as a child, you owned nothing but yourself. It may mean that being assertive or being male is "not good"....of course you get the 8th as an "adult asset" so be sure to reclaim it. That means independence, the ability to get what you want, and, above all, your sense of Self as an independant and individual person.

Thanks to those who complimented my site. It is my intent to show--by the sign interpretations and other writings--how impressive we truly are. We have plenty of people to criticize and most of us claim too few of our positive qualities. It is time to do so, if only in your private thoughts.

Some of the signs are missing. because I started doing one per month when the site came up. Bear with me, we are almost through the Zodiac
..............
Yes, I recognize a couple of your names. Not N_wEvil tho. Where do I know you from?

My reports are all original manuscripts. For astrology students, I will include the astrology so that you get a lesson and a reading. Otherwise, I use layman's language. While the chart defines the reading and they vary, the natal reports are usually 6-10 pages long.

Hi Rev Alice
Thank you for your reply.
Yes I am good at sharing and always the peacemaker. Still working on the assertiveness but I think I'm getting better at that...... Currently have Mars transiting my 7th house for approx 6 months...so I reckon that will do it for me
