Hello, I thought a new topic around real estate would be relevant with Jupiter moving into Virgo trine Taurus, it's a good month for Earth signs in real estate. That got me to thinking about real estate by sign. Land, homes, cottages..

What kind of home do you have or want?
Virgos, Victorians?
Taurus, Stone Cottage with a Garden?
Capricorn, Brick Townhouse?

What about the others?
Leo
Aries
Sag
Aqua
Libra
Gemini
Pisces
Scorp
Cancer?

This could be interesting,

Natasha

Hmmm, well, I am a Sagittarius with a Virgo rising. I also have my Sun in my 4th house.

For me, I live in an apt for now, but my dream home would be as follows:

A two-story house with a wrap around porch. It needs LOTS of windows, so that I can look out and see my acreage and my horses (which I don't have now, but someday in the future will have it). I can also see the large trees and garden (possibly a pool as well). My interior would be decorated in a Southwestern / Western style like it is now, with lots of dark wood and quilts.

The main thing I want my house and living area to say is " I am open, comfortable, come and hang out for a while"

I want people to feel at home going to the fridge and getting a beer / food or whatever!! I love putting on dinner parties and hosting just about anything!! LOL

Hi Everyone
Take at look at your 4th house - that will tell you a lot about your home.
eg: My 4th house is Sagittarius (ruled by Jupiter). I must have a spacious home. I've moved homes a lot plus at one point I had more than one home. I have lived abroad. Plus I also lived with a foreigner for 12 years. I'm very lucky with my choice of properties ie: they usually increase in value and turn out to be good investments

Hi Cat! (it's Mercy, if you didn't know I changed my name)

I have the same (having the same rising as you also have 4th house Sag). Lived abroad, lived with a foreigner from Finland for 3 years, still want to live abroad and have to have space inside my house. My Gem has his Moon in Sag next to my IC in my 4th and he has a very spacious home without much stuff and this is my ideal! Actually I love the idea of a space ship. Really I do!

I say:"away with all that stuff!" (apart from electronics), I am fantasizing about our new place! Lots of space, colours white, off white, greyish and beige! Concrete, natural tiles and aluminum, woolen carpet and a few of those round ball of light objects! Oh and most importantly a HUGE sleeping isle!
A garden with lot's of beautiful flowers, plants and little trees and lot's of windows in the house!

well I live in an apartment *SIGHS*

I'm an Aries.

BUT... I'd want a castle to live in if I could have my dream home

------------------
I haven’t been very well.. Feeling kind of seasick.. Tryin’ to follow your contrail.. You’re flying miles above my head.. While I’m dreaming underwater sleeping in a whale.. When the stars begin to shine.. Let me be in this number.. And then it comes within a wave.. Like LSD to phantasy.. Like gasoline into a fire.. Like virgin blood to a vampire.. And everybody starts to cry

I have a condo in the country on a lake.

Just enough space for me... don't have a lot to clean. Fits me just fine.

4th House:
Virgo Cusp,
Entire Sign of Libra
Pluto Here Sextile Neptune in the 6th

This question made me think a lot of what my favorite scenes are in movies when it came to homes.

I like secret rooms, sliding bookcases, cellars, optical illusions, trap doors on floors, etc.

Some cool movies and TV shows with the above features:

The Addams Family (Movie)
Scooby Doo (TV)
Panic Room (Movie)
Harry Potter (Movie)
Beauty and the Beast (TV and Movie)

Triple Aries, but Scorpio on the 4th house cusp...
...dream home is really big, really spacious, really rich, with lots of mountains or ocean around. Better yet, one in the mountains, one on the ocean...one in Ireland, one in England...one on the Riviera...

Ever seen Spiderman? The Villan's house on top a skyscraper... THAT'S MY Dream Home!

Luckily enough there's a high-rise out my office window with a house atop it, so I get to dream all day long of living there one day It also motivates me to succeed!

Yes I liked spiderman too, A skyscraper? I don't remember that, so he can fall from grace later? I used to want to live in a treehouse or a plane.

I think a stone house by the ocean would be ideal, but it has to be near the ocean. With a good foundation, and new plumbing and wiring. Private would be good. The stone would keep the home cool in the summer even with humidity, updated kitchen and baths, at least two and wood or stone floors. Heated by a gas insert in the fireplace.

Lots of light, little snow, temperate climate, lush garden, and water unpolluted enough to swim in.

Oh one thing I thought of...Cat or other 4th house-Sag people? Do you also preferably leave all inside doors open? I have this need to have either no doors at all or if I have doors I need them open. After people have visited my toilet for instance, they almost obsessively close the door behind them. Aaaaaah....I just don't like crabbing the handle to open doors inside my house . Plus I preferably sit on the toilet with the door wide open as well !
Open sesame!

No, that's not this 4th house Sag. I like all my drapes / curtains open during the day, but in the evenings I usually close things up. I ALWAYS close the bathroom door when I shower and use the restroom. It's a think with me. Also when I sleep, I only leave the door open a crack because I hate the light from the others rooms coming in.

I have to sleep in total darkness and I even cover up the light from the alarm clock. LOL

I do need space and light during the day though. I am a Sag and I am clumsy, so things need to be spread out.

well the atmosphere on mars is more 98% Carbon dioxide, but the air pressures high enough to walk outside without a suit on - you'd just need alot of thermal stuff.

I just want to see a pristine landscape for once. And be the first human to ruin it alll!!!

naa, i'd try and put everything back as i found it, but i'd just like to be there for a little while....live in a hermetically sealed appt. with one of those brown-tinted full-length windows looking out on the great canyon.... climb olympus mons.... taste martian water.

Speaking of fantastic places to live, I was thinking one day living in the Jaguar preserve in Belize, then taking hikes to the ocean and jumping in. No beach but lots of ocean, and nobody around but me and the wildlife.

For a little while anyway. I could see living in the mountains, but it gets arid after a while. Best to have two places, one in the mountains and one on the ocean and friends in the city.
