Hi all

Just to share a little something that mildly concerns me, and I wondered if you could offer any opinions on it.

My Venus is in Gemini (I'm a sun sign Gemini too)which puts me square/opposed Pluto with people born between 1957 and 1970 (I think that's right)

The problem is there is someone born in 1967 who I really like and has revealed she has similar feelings. But is the Pluto/Venus thing a really negative vibration to have? It hints at negative acts in past lives, I believe. Plus she might be a Pisces sun sign...is this doomed?

I am afraid I don't know too much about this. However I have a very wonderful relationship with someone born during your time frame and I was born in 1967. All I can say is that this relationship is something from Heaven for both of us. For 12 years I might add. I say it is NOT doomed. Who is to say that this person is NOT your true soulmate? After all I myself and Libra and they are Cancer. So they say not a match at all. SO not that case for us at all.
Best Wishes,
Rose

Thanks guys!

The thing is, Rose, you're Venus is probably not square or oppossed to your Love's Pluto. Because my Venus is in Gemini it is squared to people's Pluto born in that time frame (where as your's may not be).

it's all very intriguing!

Hi, Simon!

I have Venus square Pluto in my chart, and my bf's Pluto, with which I've been in a great relationship for 6 years already, also squares my Venus, so it's a double whammy, as they say. Nevertheless we're very very happy together.

Welll.... my natal venus squares my natal Pluto. Its not really so much negative as just a little more intense, if you ask me.

Pluto is a VERY powerful planet.

I have Venus opposite Pluto in my chart and the person that hit me most, emotionally, had his Pluto opposing my Venus. We had other harsh Pluto aspects (Moon conjunction is one), and I can't even put into words the feelings. It was a constant rollercoaster for me, and I experienced emotions I didn't even know existed. Needless to say it was INTENSE and obsessive (on my part).

Did it have a happy ending, Tuesday (if it has)?

I do not know about the square or opposition, but the conjunction of pluto and venus is very nice, a little obsessive for the person on the venus end. The trine is like that too. I have been infatuated with someone with Pluto in Leo, and I have Venus in Aries but it didn't last.

It's a little lazy though for venus and hard to keep the sparks. If you have the square or opposition at least there are sparks. If the conjunction is lazy wouldn't be logical to say that the square or opposition is growth relationship? Some of my most important relationships in terms of growth and intimacy were with those who had Venus in Pisces, opposite my Pluto in Virgo. Scary but powerful, and self defining. It made me feel powerful about what I wanted.

Just wondering about that.
There could be serious body image problems with the opposition since that happens in a natal chart. Do you feel comfortable together physically?

I wanted to add, scary to be this honest, but the Venus in Pisces man I was with, went all out for plastic surgery to look better, now he had body issues before, but I do not think our relationship helped. However in the end we both learned a lot about ourselves and I became much clearer about how to communicate what I needed from a man, not just what I wanted. He made big decisions that resulted in positive changes too.

I have been friends for years with those who have Venus in Virgo, but nothing that earth shattering happens. It's just the way it is.

Sthenri: Venus in Aries? That's the same venus placement on those 2 other Taurus/Cancer moons I was tell you about.

That's cool 1Scorp, I told you I have a few close Scorp friends that have helped me iron out a lot of my own issues. They seem to have the same emotional triggers I do, and a lot of pride. Scorps have the power to spit out what's bothering me, and boost my confidence, they can read faces. I like your nickname, 1Scorp, Number 1, very Scorpio.

You have a good memory.
Venus in Aries has a real tough time being emotionally cool and I sometimes think Pisces isn't the only sign that has trouble with boundaries dissolving and wanting to be one with the universe. But then again, I have Neptune in the 12th, too.

Where is your Neptune?

Simon,

Yes, your Venus squares her Pluto (which is in Virgo) but that it's not the end of the world. It may represent a few power struggles as Pluto has the tendency to become possessive and jealous.

My guy has his Venus in Gemini and mine is in Sagittarius (as is my Sun). My Pluto squares his Venus and his Pluto squares mine.

I also have Pluto in my first house conjuncting my Ascendent and squaring my Sun, Venus and Mars. Personally, it represents a power struggle and problem dealing with certain authority figures, mostly caused by the harsh aspect between my Natal Sun and Natal Pluto / ASC.

Venus may have the tendency to get their feelings hurt when Pluto is pulling the control freak act, especially during a transit that may irritate Pluto. In the same respect Venus may act a bit too flight and T-off Pluto.

Now that you are aware of the potential problem, it is easier to deal with it when the planets act up!

Natasha: Neptune is in second house. Sextiling pluto and moon.

Pluto is in 12th house conjunct moon and Asc.

The name 1scorp... to be honest... I never thought of it that way I'm not joking! It was more of I'm a first decante of scorpio and I'm just one scorp out of the millions of others...

However, I must say... I do like your spin on it

Hey 1Scorp
I didn't realise you had Neptune in the 2nd and Pluto in the 12th....snap crackle and pop so do I. How do you like those placements? Just wondering......
Sue

PS: Personally I quite like Pluto in my 12th - gives me a major amount of inner strength (very helpful in difficult times) but I wish Neptune wasn't in my 2nd

Hiya Virgo Chicka-roo.

Yeah, I'm thinking this pluto thing is pretty big I don't know how it really affects me... (still in the very, very early stages of this astrology stuff)

I'm thinking that beings I'm a scorpio which is ruled by pluto... then the pluto conjuncting my moon and asc. with sextiling neptune (shew that was a mouthful.. sounding like a nerd here)

That it really makes up a big part of my personality (?? could be wrong??)

So, it gives you inner strength. That's good!! I've noticed that if something bad happens, I tend to go off to myself. When times or circumstances are tough... no one can help me through it except for me

Also, people tend to think that I have control of every aspect of my life at all times.

Have you noticed that you're also sometimes a life raft for others during their tough times? The one that pushes them on and gives them the boost they need to handle it? Or just do it for them

Always run across those "I just can handle this! It's the end of the world"! Types of people. Ahhh! Then think... yeah, well this ain't nothing! You have problems?! HA! Let me tell you how to sort through this crisis of yours! It's seems I look for this stuff Or it just falls in my lap??

The neptune in the second house thing... I'm thinking that means that money is an issue Figures.

What's your take on it?

1Scorp and Cat, Neptune in the 2nd can be good for making money from the arts. I know an art gallery owner with this placement and he tends to attract artists. His life has been up and down personally from being involved with those he works with but financially it's good for him.

From my experience I would say that looks like a good placement.

Hey 1Scorp...my Plutonian sis

Yes I think you see Pluto pretty much the same as I do........

Re:
"So, it gives you inner strength".

Yup most definately...I don't think I could have handled the 3 and a half year legal battle with my ex without my 12th house Pluto (by the way my ex has a Scorp Moon, Mars & Saturn plus his chart is fixed, fixed, fixed and then fixed some more some ). Everyone (and I do mean everyone) kept saying to me "I just don't know how you are coping/can live like this..etc, etc, etc.. But I did because I had to and also I always "knew" what the outcome would be. Those 12th house placements can be kinda spooky in that knowing sort of way Plus Pluto in the 12th can also hide your "rage" (as opposed to anger which is Mars in the 12th....I have both in my 12th ). Anyway I was pretty outraged by the way my ex had treated me...my Pluto didn't explode and scare the bejeevers out of everyone but it told me you will NOT let him do this to you. Oh and by the way my Pluto is in Leo

Re:
"I've noticed that if something bad happens, I tend to go off to myself. When times or circumstances are tough... no one can help me through it except for me"

Yep I definately relate to that

Re:
"Also, people tend to think that I have control of every aspect of my life at all times".

Yes again I can relate to that...re everyone saying to me how much they admired my strength...how amazing I was to be able to cope etc. Whereas I thought pretty much the same as you...I'm not amazing, it's happening and I'm dealing with it.

Re:
"Have you noticed that you're also sometimes a life raft for others during their tough times? The one that pushes them on and gives them the boost they need to handle it? Or just do it for them"

Again yes....ya know planets in the 12th also show what we give to others. So with Mars there as an example we will "fight" for others. Pluto we will give them our strength etc

Continuation of my post as wouldn't post all in one go

LOL ...yes I hear ya

Ewww the Neptune 2nd thing.....
Yes money is an issue - we are not so sensible re that...Neptune in cloud cuckoo land Self worth is also another 2nd house issue - I honestly do have a lot of confusion/issues about my own self worth. Friends think I'm crazy re that but there ya go that's Neptune for you. I also have Neptune opp Jupiter in my chart - which means I don't see bad in people and so can be very gullible. How do you relate to Neptune in your 2nd?

Hi Natasha
Yes the arts are good re money.
The problem with having Neptune in my 2nd is that people within a 14 year period also have Neptune in the same sign as me - so in synastry their Neptune always sits in my 2nd house - so there can be confusion/deception re monetary matters. So that is a problem that I've personally experienced but I do find the self worth issue more of a problem but that's most probably because I have a lot of Virgo placements in my chart which are already very critical of me
How does your friend relate to any of this?
Sue

Very similar, he has problems seeing himself as an individual among his friends and does get sucked into the artists lifestyle sometimes, causing him to lose money somehow. He always does well, but I can tell he is stressed sometimes about his own self image, and dependency issues. He is a little neurotic about how others see him, he expects/resents approval based on what he has earned. He has a T-Square though, and Neptune square Sun.

I have another friend with Jupiter in Aqua opposite Neptune in Leo, and I hear what you are saying about being gullible. She's a doll, but she just got a big settlement from a lawsuit and gave it away to another friend in need. It's at the point where, I talk to everyday about her finances now, so that she has some. Most artists are not great with finances but that's part of my job, working and brokering with other artists.

Pluto in the 12th must be amazing, I wonder how I help others with my Neptune in the 12th? I seem to help my friends hold onto their dreams. I am also in real estate, maybe that helps others.

Hi Natasha
Yes Neptune in the 2nd is not great at looking after their money.....We can wake up one morning and think "now where did it all go" We're capable of making it but not great at holding onto it.....

That's interesting that you work with artists. Neptune sitting in your 12th can hide your own imaginative, artistic side. Actually Neptune likes being in the 12th - it's natural home. Sounds to me like you are giving your "artistic-ness" & imagination to other people via the artists you help and work with
Sue

PS: I'm now wondering what planets you have in Sagittarius or what house it rules in your chart? (re the real estate)

Hi, I have Mars and Ascendant conjunct in Sag, and Venus in Aries on the 4th, actually almost in the 5th. My north node is in pisces too in the 4th and the moon is in the 8th in cancer. Jupiter is in Virgo in the 10th aspecting the midheaven, along with pluto and uranus.

I know a doctor who has the moon, sun, venus and ascendant in scorpio and he is doesn't manage his money well, everything he lives off comes from real estate. Seems like there are some people who can expect their income from another direction no matter what they do. Real estate is like that, it's stable, no matter what, everyone needs to live someplace.

Well... you know what? According to the Koch system... I've been all wrong regarding my neptune It's 3rd house!

Ohhhh... goes off and takes an aspirin due to all this confusion.

I can make money. I can save money. Yet, it never fails... as soon as I've saved up money... something costly will happen and I have to start all over again...
