Heya, heya all ya'll :-D

I have the sneaking suspicion that I've asked this b/f, but I can remember neither where nor when, so...:

My Natal Pluto is in the 12th, unaspected save for a) the "generational" sextile w/ Neptune (@ 1°30) and b) a 1°32 quincunx with my Sun.

So...should I consider it unaspected given the above? Should I look at the wide-swath cut by the Neptune/Pluto dance as a more personal one? And/or should the minor aspect w/ my Sun take on added heft? (Don't worry if you want to say the last; my happy, unsuspecting 5th House Fishy Sun is already squared at 0°02 by my natal Neppie and trine by 2°49 my 1st House Uranus - she's used to outer planet buffets )

Cheers, Corri

Ehh, i dunno exactly what a Quincunx aspect IS (heehee) - Sue? Lanny? help!

Personally i'd always count generational aspects, especially ones with under 3 degree orbs, but thats just the way i'd do it.

Either way, there's definately some energy being bounced around there considering its pluto we're talking about

Hi Corri,

Pluto in your case does not count as unaspected. The aspect between Pluto and Neptune is there, and does have energy. Generational simply indicates that more people have this, but does not negate the aspect.

The inconjunct with your Pisces Sun is open to interpretation by some Astrologers. It can cause tension between self-expression and the unconscious. There is probably an intense subconscious, subliminal drive you have that has an awkward time expressing itself in areas of pleasurable and leisurely activities that are denoted as "playful" and not to thought of as serious. Do you feel this?

A.

Hi N_w
A Quincunx (also known as Inconjunct) is a minor aspect - so not too much attention is given to it. It's considered to be a neutral aspect (150°).
Actually I personally think that sometimes not enough attention is given to this aspect - especially re transits.
