i really loved her a lot once, i have a bunch of her books/diaries. i sort of havent thought about her much in the past couple of years, as i had to worry about my physical needs rather than the needs of my soul, but thanks to jakie i have been reading more about her. thanks jakie trill, i had the perfume! it was lovely. its funny because it was given to me for xmas when i was a kid, every year one of my presents was a set of anais anais, and i never knew at the time that i would eventually figure out where the name came from, and read almost everything she wrote. kinda neat, how that worked out.
one thing i do wanna do at some point is read tropic of cancer. i actually have never read it.
did you ever see the film 'henry and june'? that helped fuel my interest in her too. i love uma thurman, and wow! maria de mederos is soooo neat! that was the first movie i saw her in, then later of course she did pulp fiction. she looked a lot like anais, i think that was really good casting. the movie was an ok movie but it doesnt do her books justice. i did love the wardrobes and things. i love that time in history, and i am an art nouveau nut
i like 'a' names too, lol!
hi jakie
i only just got up but if i wasnt rubbing the sleep away from my eyes id write another quote. isnt that lovely how that person did her page, and illustrated how her planets 'worked'? i found it very lovely.
*hugs*
