Hey everyone! I'm a newbie astrologer just getting into the "physics of it". I've always been interested in the occult and all things esoteric, especially matters of the stars. I'm a Virgo with a Taurus moon and a Sagittarius ascendant. I've had a pretty screwed up social life (both love-related and otherwise), where could that come up in my chart? Welcome everybody! (that makes a double welcome for purplezen -- keep those questions coming!)Hmm... screwed up, how? Complicated? Abrupt? Weird? Painful? Once you get more into this board, MortalCyn, you're sure to read a lot of ways in which relationships can get messed up!  Although the Sag Asc. could also be part of the problem -- it's so different than your earth Sun/Moon that people could be seeing you for someone you aren't. It's also pretty "out there" and "right now" whereas your more critical and cautious Virgo Sun might later think, "I wish I'd said/done that differently!" But I bet you make a big impression.  cheers,

Thanks for your responses! Lunargirl, by screwed up, I guess I mean complicated. I'm currently head-over-heels in love with a Capricorn who's taken. According to our dear friend Linda Goodman, ours should be a match made in heaven, but I wonder (other than, of course, his girlfriend) what in the stars could be keeing us apart? I haven't done his chart but he was born Jan. 15, 1982.Aside from that, what sources do you guys usually use for research and insight? Do you subscribe to mags or newsletters?
