What are the benefits of having Jupiter in Virgo?

YAY! Jupiter sextiles my 0.35 degrees Sun! Apart from my Uranus/Sun Trine this must be the one good thing going on in my chart ! Mmm, don't know but I am really so through with life. Nothing really bad, just feel I can be teleported right now. Freedom!!! On my hoverboard making salto's and flips and things....
Slowly Jupiter'll move towards my Ascendant. I hope it gives me a breather.

Cat, I am so happy for you. You really deserve it! Not that anyone else doesn't deserve it of course.....
Carlo..kick some Ass will ya?

I'm just glad it's out of Leo finally! I mean, it spend some time being conjunct my sun, Merc, Venus and Mars this year, and I guess it "expanded" those things for me, but it was also making me want to overindulge a little too much. And Leo does like the finer things in life, so Jupi in Leo has a definate tendancy to cause overindulgence.
Now that it's moved into Virgo, maybe we can all get ourselves back on track!

P.S. Went to the casino just for kicks while Jupiter was conjunct my natal Venus cuz I heard this is a most auspicious aspect in terms of financial luck...sorry to say, didn't win a darn thing. Maybe I should have pulled out just one more twenty...

Would Jupiter conjunct natal Jupiter be a good time to win some money?

Hi Amy
Thank-you. Yes having both Saturn & Pluto squares was verrrryyy hard - at times it felt like being stretched out on a cross. My chart (as you know) is heavily mutable. Even though Pluto will still be in Sag for a long time yet....and now Uranus & Mars have moved into Pisces, which could be a bit of a ride Hoping Jupiter will bring some fun and light relief
Sue

Hi Sylven
Thank you for the good wishes. I hope Jupiter brings you tons of luck and good times

Great, I am feeling lucky too, my Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto are all conjunct, and many Virgo planets make me want to kayak and dance, and all sorts of things. I felt like I was in a box the last few months. I mean I had no energy before.

Geez, Natasha, it almost sounds like you have the same chart as me! I have all those planets in Virgo as well. You have Neptune in the 12th in Scorp, same as me, and Sag rising, same as me. Uranus close to your midheaven, same as me. And so on. I'd like to see your chart.

Hi Melissa
You'd need to take a look at your whole chart as depends on what degrees the planets are at in it, plus check your house placements.
It was a New Moon yesterday (4 degree Virgo) plus take a look at what Mars & Uranus are doing (transit wise) in your chart as they're both retro in Pisces - so opposing Virgo stuff.

Hope you're feeling better today.
Sue

Cat, thanks- i'm doing much much better. this virgo merc rx is not helping matters. in fact, i read an article indicating this rx can be particularly trying for people with strong virgo or gemini planets--i have 3 personal planets in virgo. also, these i have in virgo are very close to the degrees of the station in which merc goes retro (virgo 26) and also when merc goes direct (virgo 12).

anyway --thanks!

Hi..would anyone be able to help me understand what Jupiter in Virgo and Merc. Retro in Virgo mean for someone with natal Saturn rx in Virgo (at 12degrees in the 4th)? I also have NN in Virgo at 17 deg.

Thanks.

It should be interesting at the least with Mars, Mercury, Uranus and Neptune all retrograde. Jupiter can only be a blessing

oxy- i would think you would be strongly affected with this rx. (as am i) even more so perhaps because of the aspect being saturn virgo 12 deg AND rx in the 4th. look for happenings when mercury goes direct on 9/20 @ 12 deg virgo and let us know what happens. there may be some-something happening (smile) with yer mom or an immediate family member. could be a challenge of sorts which resolves itself after merc goes direct.

here is another scenario--Could it be changes you;ve been wanting to make in the home but havent? perhaps you will be forced to do so--? a kitchen appliance needs some repair--and you've been putting it off?

analytically yours,

melissa

Thanks lovely*! The end of this month already has the potential to be a very trying time for me. So we'll see. keep your fingers crossed (please). There are definitely some changes that will need to be made anyway.

Hope all works out for you Melissa!

cosmic calendar today through Sept 11...

***

MON SEPT 8 Some workweeks flow like a magnificent waterfall while others start with a sea of troubles. Today's problem is that the Moon in Aquarius sextiles Pluto in Sagittarius (2:02AM PDT) and this begins a void lunar cycle lasting until 1:08AM PDT tomorrow. Under these circumstances, if you try to push your agenda too strongly, other people may be offended. You may also be just spinning your wheels and not making any headway. The best bet is to be active with completion work across the board. The universe keeps to a light schedule itself -- providing only a Venus-Vesta 45-degree aspect (10:01AM PDT) that may add to your worries and self-doubts about a loved one's safety. Weather permitting, enjoy athletic contests like baseball, basketball, volleyball or soccer. You can be a team captain or organize friends for fun and games. Are you sensing an onslaught coming up in the near future? You are tuning into Wednesday's potent Full Moon that will be aligned with Mercury and in conflict with Pluto. Hunker down tonight and delve into your spiritual studies.

TUE SEPT 9 Thank goodness the Moon finally leaves void-of-course status and enters Pisces at 1:08AM PDT. As you awaken, the mood has clearly shifted from yesterday's uncertainty. Pisces Moon points you in the direction of being more compassionate and selfless. Be generous to human rights organizations, missions for the homeless and animal shelters. However, don't be too surprised if you wake up a little disoriented or even emotionally upset. The Moon unites with unpredictable Uranus (1:31AM PDT) and conjuncts/occults Mars (5:01AM PDT). These are not exactly happy camper aspects. You are more likely to lose your cool over a trifle than be fair-minded and warmhearted. So, make sure you don't explode in rage while in the company of loved ones. Be on your best behavior. Being forewarned is forearmed -- thus goes the ancient aphorism of astrological awareness. Music, dance, singing, chanting, swimming, bathing, yoga, tai chi and meditation are great activities during Pisces Moon and while tomorrow's Full Moon builds to a crescendo.

WED SEPT 10 Lights! Cameras! Action! The universe goes from a little cantankerous yesterday to absolutely outrageous today. Here's the essence of today's shocking astrological story: Sun squares Pluto (2:36AM PDT); Ceres moves 150 degrees to Neptune (8:10AM PDT); Full Moon (9:37AM PDT and energizing 18 degrees of Virgo and Pisces); Sun-Mercury Retrograde Inferior Conjunction (6:58PM PDT). Don't be in a hurry to make crucial decisions, sign papers and buy big-tickets items. This is a classic low-profile situation when you need to work behind the scenes and enjoy life as a hermit. Remember that Solar Virgo is the key zodiacal sign for hermits, monks, nuns and people who shun center stage. Since Pluto is at odds with both Sun and Moon, trying to get away with anything is bound to fail. Ruffling anyone's feathers is a no-no. However, illuminating ideas are prevalent and your mind can be inundated with revelations from dawn to dusk -- courtesy of the Earth, Mercury retrograde, and Sun lining up in the zodiac. As mentioned briefly on September 9, individual and group meditations are advised close to the time of the Full Moon. Send out healing thoughts and prayers to humanity. Note that the Moon in Pisces is void from 10:42PM PDT until 9:10AM PDT tomorrow.

THU SEPT 11 The day of September 11th will always have a negative ring forevermore due to the horrendous events on that day two years ago. Can the unthinkable happen again on that scale in this country? Hopefully not. Nevertheless, yesterday's Full Moon -- compounded by contacts with extremist Pluto and mischievous Mercury -- does send out a signal of caution and conservative behavior all around. This is reinforced now as Mercury in Virgo squares Pluto in Sagittarius (10:45AM PDT). Certainly an "ouch" type of pattern, Mercury and Pluto in this liaison can coincide with bad decisions, poor timing, an increase in accidents and unruly behavior. Don't even think about buying and selling stocks or fooling around with your investment strategy. The Moon enters fiery Aries at 9:10AM PDT -- strengthening your leadership credentials and independent streak. Don't take this as a license for aggressive action that puts you in the psychic doghouse with loved ones and family members. What you can do is become a support system for anyone under extreme pressure due to Mercury and Pluto locking horns.

have a nice week

Love,
Carlo
