I'm aware both these objects govorn luck to some degree and i'm wondering what their interpretations are if anyone has linkage?

Mine are both cojnunct in Scorpio/6th house(8 and 9 degrees) squaring my Aquarius Mercury.

It follows this would mean "lucky in inheritance" but Trust me - the only thing I have to inherit is debt! So what gives? is there any particular modification that mercury square gives the combo?

That helped explain my Aries Jupiter squared my Cancer Sun. I've had alot of explanations for that aspect that didn't fit. This one does.
N_wEvil: I'll try to find a link for explaining Pars Fortuna. I think I recall seeing it on a really old link I had with Part of Fortune and marriage. Anyway perhaps your aspect has nothing to do with inheritance and more to do with opportunities with health and job situations that are hidden away or metaphysically related but your having a challenge expressing it???? Just a thought

I found the link for Part of Fortune it's www.noendpress.com Seach for Arabic Parts and select the calculator then type in Part of Fortune or Pars Fortuna. It's a fun site. You can find your Arabic Parts for stuff you've never imagined.

Thanks for the link.

I'm a bit confused now as that site calculates my Part of Fortune to be 15.3 Sagittarius but on www.astro.com that shows my Part of Fortune to be 3.13 Gemini.
Any idea why that is? Maybe I did it wrong

Hi Cat,

astro.com also gave me different results for my Part of Fortune, I get different Pars Fortunae from different sources. I dont know anymore where my PF is. The best is to calculate it with a source that prompts for night time or day time formula so one makes sure that the Part is calculated correctly.

Hmm yes now I'm confused where mine is as well as always quite happily thinking it was in Gemini.....
Did you check yours via the link that Kat gives above? That has am and pm options. So now it seems mines shifted to Sagittarius...now have an identity crisis As in Sag it conjuncts my Moon whereas in Gemini it conjuncts my MC.

I just checked the link and yes, I`ve seen this one before and I use this Arabic parts calculator a lot, have to admit it is one of the most reliable way to calculates correctly Arabic Parts. My Part of Fortune is conjuncting my natal Saturn almost exactly to seconds...bad bad

Part of Fortune conjuncting your lovely Moon is too nice to have, wonderfuly fortunate..

Interestinly I got the same Aqua POF both with this calculator and in astro.com.

But I just don't know what to think of it (or do about it ). I guess I have to be doing 'something' with it as is in sextile with Jupiter/Neptune conjunction and trines Pluto. Also conj. Sun but out of sign, so it probably doesn't count.

Trouble is that Aqua is anyway the most confusing sign for me. My NN is there so I MUST find way to go to that territory.

Just wondering....are you a pm birth time?
I'm an am time of birth so I'm wondering if astro work on pm. But then again I have nooo idea what I'm talking about - just guessing and trying to make some "Virgo" sense of how I can be Gemini PF with astro yet Sag with the other site. So if you're a pm birth and as you're the same on both site...have I solved the mystery probably not

cat- there *are* two different calculations for part of fortune depending whether a person is a day or night birth. i believe astro usually does it automatically unless you specify otherwise, so it was probably the no end press one that was off. it gives a different equation depending on day or night birth, perhaps you got confused between the two and used the wrong formula.

the astrodienst one should be correct. >^_^<

Thanks for your post. Yes I know there's the difference between am and pm birth....I did follow the formula they gave on the noendpress site and specified an am birth. Maybe I did do something crazy...I'll have check it again. I too would have thought the astro one to be correct...but I guess that's not necessarily "a given" - as Bissie also finds differences.

My PofF was correct on both astro.com and noendpress.com -I do have a daytime birth. Perhaps you should try the one on noendpress with just the degrees ????
