Odd things happening lately. Last night, I had to unplug my clock radio to plug it into to a different outlet, and it didn't even reset. It doesn't have any batteries in it. How could that be???? I mean, don't get me wrong. I was glad that I didn't have to reset the time on it, but I was fully prepared to...didn't have to. I can't figure it out. Plus, I was watching t.v., and the back door is right beside the couch. I heard a knock at the door, just a light "tap tap tap", and I immediately pushed the curtain back to see who was there....nobody was there. Plus, it's becoming a common occurence for taps and cracks to come from my closet doors, or my bed head board, which isn't odd in itself, (just regular house settling noises) but the timing of them is....suspect. They always occur while I'm thinking about the same thing. Plus, I've been thinking alot about a coworker who I got pretty close to, who died last February of lymphatic cancer. I had a couple of dreams that were so...not scary. We were just talking, and joking, and it was just so casual and relaxed. I think he's trying to warn me about something that I need to deal with. The taps and cracks always seem to coincide with me thinking about it.He was a Pisces. His name was Ken. We all miss him. Then, yesterday, out of the blue, his wife showed up at my work, just for an 'out of the blue' visit. What do you guys think? Any odd goings on in your houses lately? IP: Logged |

Well there you go! I found that site quite enlightening. As a practicing Spititualist, anytime is good for me , but It`s interesting that the veil is thinnest at specific astrological times. juniperb IP: Logged |

Aw, that's nice Sylven. Did you draw that? Why does he have a green carrot sticking out of his head? But seriously folks, what do make of that whole clock radio incident? I'm honestly perplexed by that.

Lion - It might take some time for the current to leak out of the clocks' solid-state memory depending on exactly what kind of cells it was using i couldn't tell you though Either way, its prolly just current leakage issues Great...now i sound like a smartarse even though im not actually sure of what im talking about :P IP: Logged |

Yeah, I thought of that, N_w...like there was enough current in the cord to keep the charge for the 3 or 4 seconds it took to plug it back in. BUT just a minute ( pronounced "my-noot" )power blink-out will reset the darn thing, and those only last for half a second, so that's why I ruled that theory out.IP: Logged |

In recent months I unplugged somehing or other that had a digital/LED display, to move it, and was astonished that it kept the time till I plugged it back in. My coffee maker, I think it was.Better technology? (yep, Microsoft crashes all the timet, and the world's inventors focus on designing a better time-retentive clock display) The other stuff definitely sounds like you are being visited. Have you asked this guy directly about what he wants, or is trying to communicate? You could meditate, or ask that he tell you in a dream, or maybe ask your guardian angel to be the intermediary if this all sounds a little too whacked-out for you. Sounds like he's (still) a helpful sort... My two and half cents. Lunar IP: Logged |

Well, that too is a good theory, the clock one, BUT my clock radio is a 12 year old hand me down. I'm gonna do a test tonight and unplug it again, and see if it retains the time again this time. I'll post the results of said test OK?Lunargirl, I think I know what he's trying to tell me. I have a pretty good idea, anyway. Oh, Man! Just typing these posts, I'm getting the weirdest feeling! Like, surreal and outside of myself...sorta. Hard to explain. A weird hum in the air. IP: Logged |

Results from clock radio test are in......Unplugged it for a count of 1 second. IT RESET THIS TIME. It was unplugged for about 3 seconds on Thurs night. You see? I'm not exagerating. I'm not freeked out or anyting like that. Actually, quite the opposite. I think it's very groovy. I'm not a-feared...I'm impressed! IP: Logged |
