Woo.. wow. Ok, i just got a sortof semi-job offer abroad and i suppose... im a little scared and could use consulting the ol' astrological crystal ball. Is it a good time for me to up-sticks and leave, transit-wise? The only counterbalance is by taking this job i'd be deferring my degree year - thats the sticking point. IP: Logged |

Does it look solid? Then go for it! How can a year abroad working be anything else but a fantastic experience!! It'll pull you ahead in directions that that last year of school can't possibly give you!! It, too is education, and should put you in a stronger position monye and expereince wise when you get back!!(ahem, and now back to people who can actually give wEvil astrological advice) But maybe check out my on-the-fly comments on your transits that I mentioned awhile ago... see http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001123.html Lunar the Ever Optimistic PS, just saw your other thread about Saturn in the 3rd... well maybe this would be a good interruption of your schooling! Traveling abroad is connected with your IXth house, but if you are going somewhere near, then you can use the IIIrd house. Strange and lonely places are connected with the XIIth house ... but I doubt you have a job offer that will require you to go and live with a tribe in the middle of the rain forests ... so I guess that leaves us the IXth house. The IIIrd house is only connected with your primary education (and transportation method), the Vth with your high school and the IXth with your "higher" education. I would check your natal IXth house, to see if it's good to travel at all, the planets in it, the sign, the ruler and it's placement. A job offer with traveling would require a IXth house cusp in Capricorn or Virgo. Then I would look at the transits. Do a directional chart or your progresses chart too, I have found that they are more accurate.Zoka IP: Logged |

9th house cusp in cappy (~15deg): check Venus in cappy/9th (23;45): check Saturn in Libra/5th (22;12) : check as a side note - i just noticed jupiters' all over my (empty) 5th house. just to rub it in... IP: Logged |

I guess that the transit Uranus is somewhere in your Xth house (or around your MC) indicating turbulence and changes of your job and making a trine with the ruler of your IXth house. So this should be exciting and good. The only thing that worries me is the transit Saturn in your IIIrd, making the method of transportation slow and old and increasing the possibility for accidents to happen. Be sure to check out if everything is OK with that. By the way, the Xth house is WHAT you do, the VIth is WHERE you do it, so I would wait until Jupiter in Virgo hits this cusp making your working place "new" and "nice" (trine with Venus).Zoka IP: Logged |
