Why the long face? All signs have psychic abilities and can "plug" into the universe with training and meditation. Some are more "aware" than others such as the water signs and fire signs (known mostly for flashes of prophecy). It really depends on how open you are and if you what planets you have in the water signs - that is the short version. But maybe you could lend more insight into what's up? IP: Logged |

The 4th, 8th & 12th houses are known as the psychic houses (being the natural water houses).Check for any planets in those houses IP: Logged |

"flashes of prophesy" I like that. Mine isn't usually that big. It's more typically a sudden glimpse into another person's psyche. For instance, a high school friend's sister who was "living hard" ...I had a flash of insight that told me she wouldn't live to see 40. She commited suicide when she was 39. (which was about 11 years later) Spooky, hey? And another time, I got a flash that told me another friend was sexually abused by her dad. Years later, a mutual friend told me that our freind is now a lesbian, which very often is the result of sexual abuse. No, it's not confirmation that my "hunch" was true, but it certainly doesn't negate it either.Those are just a couple of examples. Pidaua, on the other hand, she has prophetic dreams that play out like motion pictures! There's a thread in Free for All talking about that. i scare myself sometimes with how psychic i can be. let see. i have sun, merc, mars, uranus and pluto in the 4th, the moon on the cusp of 3rd/4th (interpreted as 4th) and cancer asc. i seem to feel more intuitive during gemini/cancer moon transits. i agree with pidua though, anyone is capable of training. we are all hard wired with intuitive sense, we just need to learn how to sit quietly to block out and draw in  IP: Logged |

On another note, this Hurricane is kind of freaking me out. I had a dream about it last night combined with some other weird elements. For some reason, I think this storm is going to bring more than just rain and wind. I am sure all will be okay though.
I was teasing my friends and said I was totally prepared for the storm. That the cats and I all have our individual life jackets with matching rafts ready to go with the pull of a string. LOL...that just made them roll. I also said we would all raft up and float around the bay. The cats have their ER stash of 9 Lives (for obvious reasons) and thier 2 favorites toys. I have my beef jerky (yummmy) and my top two astro books. LOL....Got have some humor with the scary!!!! IP: Logged |

Oh, Pid! That storm is a doosey I heard. Apparently it has TWO eyes? Sheesh, talk about "batton down the hatches", and anything else that moves for that matter.I'm worried about all you East Coasters.  I'm imploring the angels to scoot over there and enclose you and your kitties in a protective dome. (it's nice being all Leo sometimes, cuz it gives you the schutzpa to implore the etherial world with confidence and authority. Hey, it's not for my own personal gain, so it's rightious. I always thought  isces: were the psychic ones, one of my friends is a Pisces and she's very intuitive, I also found it interesting that most astrology books say that Pisces is?!

I also have a 4th, 8th, 12th emphasis in my natal chart and have been told many many times that I an extremely psychic - which always used to confuse me as I didn't think I was at all and I'm still not too sure about it Anyway I'm learning to "go with" my thoughts/feelings and that's becoming more and more insightful for me. I think the problem you may be experiencing is that you think that everyone feels/experiences things in the same way that you do? I know I used to think that but I've found out that I was wrong to think that way. By way of example - the other day I just started to worry about a friend of mine,I had no logical reason for feeling that way but I just knew she wasn't happy even though we hadn't spoken so I emailed her to say I've been worrying about you today, I hope everything's ok.... and it turned out that she was feeling very very down. Do those kind of things happen to you?

This site is more often than not cringingly painfully politically correct and pretentious, and people carry on like theyre frickin mother teresa, BUT someone makes a swoopingly ignorant generalisation like, i heard she was abused and then i heard she was a lesbian which is often caused by sexual abuse!!, AND no one says anything!? Just goes to show that if it doesnt affect you ,you dont care. So the next time someone carries on about light and love and not being judgmental, feminism ,rascism etc I think I wont regard it as genuine.
Oh and by the way , whover it was, I know hundreds of gays and have only met two who were abused, and i've known of many straights who were, so go figure!! IP: Logged |

Well Jason from Oz you're obviously entitled to your own opinion. I would however like to point out the topic we are discussing on this string is psychic signs and that's what we've continued to talk about - which is why the string has that heading and also why Moondreamer started it. If we were all to "jump/attack/pick up on" on every word/sentence that anyone posted where would that get us? In my opinion absolutely know where other than creating unnecessary arguments - which is not what this site's about.

I understand your point about me thinking that others feel the same way I do. I'm also learning that my thoughts and feelings are pretty different from the average person. I was shocked when someone told me she cannot visualize. She doesn't see any images - not in dreams, nor while awake. If someone was to tell me to imagine a silver apple sitting on a purple table, I could see it while typing this e-mail. She can't. So it got me thinking hmmm, so everyone isn't the same. What I've noticed is that I can meet someone or walk into a room and immediately figure out the vibes. I'm also good at figuring out the dynamics of a situation, and then guessing what's going to happen as a result. I recall some immediate insights at former job in which the company was having problems.
When I walked into the door, my immediate thought was my boss is going to ask me if I mind taking on additional responsibilities. Sure enough I was walking downstairs and he stopped me and asked if he could talk to me.
About a month afterwards I realized that business wasn't picking up and being a small company I knew I was the next to get layed off. I also knew he was going to create a false situation in which to have "reasons" to get rid of me. He started documenting stupid stuff and then when i returned from vacation I knew I was going to be let go. All happened as I thought it would. (I was fortunate to have started sending out resumes and manifested a good job possibility before the vacation.)Which then makes me question is it Psychic or the ability to pick up stuff that most people overlook? For instance I can pick up subtle body language that most people don't pick up.If we were able to scientifically measure what's picked up then it wouldn't be considered psychic. Could "psychic" also be common sense?I knew the day my car would be stolen. I went to a Friday meeting at a high school with no windows and located in a bad neighborhood. On Monday, I walked inside and took a deep breath - it was gone when I went outside at the end of the day. Common sense? extra perception??? But why is it so inconsistant? I don't ever see myself doing something like this professionally since I feel accuracy is essential. I'd never go to a doctor that was wrong 80% of the time. Then I think some psychic stuff is intelligence or "right" thinking. Maybe a little bit of understanding psychology. If someone acts a certain way, you can pretty much predict what results will eventually occur if they keep doing what they're doing. Sometimes I am able to pull somthing out of nowhere or using tarot card. I once pulled a card showing the King of Pentacles and then I though I'm going to meet a Virgo man. He showed up a few weeks later. I'd like to get better at this and have been looking for ways to improve. I think meditation - deep meditation may be one route. Attitude another - when I have a bad attitude nothing comes through. Any ideas/thoughts? Thanks for your reply. I do appreciate it. Just keep in mind that I check into this site only once to two twice a week. So whenever you write something it takes me awhile. I know it took me some time to reply to your Part of Fortune question.
