Hi everyone,I'm new to this site, and a very new astrology student. I have a friend who is very "doom and gloom-ish" about outer planet transits. As she and I were talking recently, I realised that I'm looking at some intense ones myself, in 2005. I'm a bit frightened, actually. Can someone please give me some positive implications of the transits? Namely, Pluto will square my natal Saturn When Saturn goes through Leo, it will Square my Sun, Merc, Venus, Neptune and my moon. (all while Pluto is squaring my natal Saturn). Uranus, thank God, will be in Pisces, which is Trine or sextile almost everything in my chart. (save my Jupiter in Leo). My b'day: 10/28/66 7:51 pm Detroit tks to any and all who can help. I'm a bit nervous. Astrid IP: Logged |

You should never be afraid of outer planet transits, they are serving your spiritual growth by compelling you to confront those things in your life that you have been avoiding. The best approach toward outer planet transists is a willingness to change and grow. Actually Astrid, there is a lot more going on in your transit than you indicated. If you want a full transit reading, email me at LLLOG@yahoo.com Lanny IP: Logged |

Lanny, I'll be emailing you. I know . . . Uranus will oppose all my Virgo stuff, including my natal Uranus. See, I don't know enough about astrology to know exactly WHAT this all means.Juniperb--yup! You, too? Well, nice to know a fellow Michigander on the site. Astrid Thanks!!! IP: Logged |

Welcome Astrid - As N_w said, starting around December-time (I think) Pluto'll be dancing all over my chart by tightly * Squaring my natal Piscean Sun * Squaring my natal Virgin Saturn * Conjucting my natal Saggie Neptune (in the 2nd house) (yes, that's a natal t-square) and * Sextiling my natal Libran Pluto; then (b/c, apparently, my soul has a rip-roaring sense of humor ) hovering for about a year (again...I think...for some silly reason my computer's not opening astro.com's eph. right now), swaying back and forth through a series of direct and then retrograde periods. If I remember correctly, it's going to hit quite directly around May of 2004. So...yeah. My fiance and I kinda recently found out that we're expecting. Hrm...I should really begin showing roun' 'bout the Holidays, and the kiddo's due in the very early part of May. I'd like to think that, while irrevocably life-altering, those events won't be doom-and-gloom. IP: Logged |

Oooooooooooo, Congratulations!!!!!Life altering, in the most AWESOME way!! That's GREAT! Yeah, my ex and I were together for 13 years. It's so wild that we had 3 miscarriages, then had our son after 11 years together. I knew NOTHING about the planets then, and still haven't gone BACK to look. My son was born 6/18/98. Interestingly, his SATURN is sitting right on top my moon. zero Taurus. By July 1999, pluto's shadows (I'm assuming) starting hitting my ex, who's a Sag. He went into a downward spiral, Saturn was rolling through my marriage sector, and in March 2000, the divorce was filed. ugh. Since then, he's sunk to the depths, and my son and I have swam to safety. Whew. Even with all this in mind, there IS free will. My ex seems to just need to keep things on auto-pilot to self-destruct. That's his choice. I know LOTS of Sag's who've come through Pluto pretty darned good. It wasn't easy for me, back 20 years ago or so now, when Saturn and Pluto hit my sun (and merc/venus/neptune). But. . . I'm older and wiser now because of it. I'm assuming all the pluto stuff will be more of a spiritual nature. I don't know. I need to study this more. But, YOU ARE RIGHT!! No need to be doom-and-gloom about it. Astrid IP: Logged |
