Topic: best friends sign conflict

my best friend and i have been friends forever.however our star signs are opposite to each other.i am a libra and he is an aries(he was born on 21st march).i read somewhere that the same sex do not get along with each other if their signs are opposite.how come we both get along even though we are not"suppose to" according to astrology.IP: Logged |

Your only looking at your Sun signs which is not sificiant to make such a determination. It may be that one of you has your Sun in the other's Ascendant, or any of another of the multiple aspects of comparing two charts. Lanny IP: Logged |

Well, Moondreamer, my best friend is also my opposite sign, Aquarius BUT her moon is in Leo, and mine is in Aquarius. So, we really feed off of each other, and we both understand the contradictory natures of each other. It's grand.IP: Logged |

LOL -- My best girfriend is a New Moon Libra, with several Virgo planets. I am Pisces with Aries Moon.Since we not trying to "sleep" together, our oppositions really serve to give us both the "whole" pic. We are constantly "one-upping" the other just exchanging information. We laff a lot and realize we are "twins" but exactly opposite but the same. IP: Logged |

I have a lot of good, dear friends. But my very closest in all the world are an Aquarius Sun/Leo Moon/Sag Rising and a Taurus Sun/Capricorn Moon/Libra Rising
They definitely know me better than anyone else probably ever has, except for one Aquarian guy (he has an Aquarian Sun/Gemini Moon/Capricorn Rising). He reads me so well I don't even have to speak. It's scary I tell you.Most of my very close friends are Aquarians and Capricorns (guys). Whenever I become good friends with a Leo female, she almost always has an Aquarius Moon. It starts out a little tricky as we start to get a feel for each other, but then we seem to blend well. Mutual reception, eh Lioneye68??

All my close TRUE friends have always being Leo females. Why? But the thing is that it's rare that I stay friends with them. I attract them (friendship wise)all the time, but after a while, I can't stand them and they can't stand me. But then we get back together (in friendship)it's as if we never parted. Leo females and I disagree A lot. Am I selfish, or are they? I Wonder? Aries and Leo? Can they be friends? IP: Logged |

I read that you have a lot to learn from your opposite sign, especially the Mars signs. I'm a Mars in Aquarius so need a Mars in Leo!!!
Also I'm a Scorpio (duh!!!) with a Gemini Moon and Libra rising, I've always strongly identified with Librans and I always attract and am attracted to Librans, all my best friends are Librans and we just seem to instinctiively get on!! But then my Scorpion sun creeps out demanding deep emotions which scares the airy Libras away!!

Hi Moondreamer, I think that people of the opposite signs can make excellent friends. One of my bestfriends in college was a Gemini with a Sagittarius Moon (I am a Sag with an Aries moon). Our other roommate was a Leo. She and I dated some of the same guys (but years apart) but the Gemini had a totally different taste in dudes. The three of us had alot of fun. In fact many of my friends, male and female, have been Gemini's and even my square - Virgo. I just try to stay away from dating my opposite mainly because I have had a few harsh experiences with Gemini men, but I get along great with the women. Don't let the opposition hurt your friendship.
