Hi, I am wondering if anyone can tell me the importance of mutual reception between 2 separate charts. Does it intensify the aspect? Thanks! IP: Logged |

Hi, Oxy! Hmmm. I would say YES, because it's equally beneficial to both parties. If, for example a couple had a Venus to Moon trine, it would feel warm and affectionate to Person A, the Moon person, and sentimental and homey to Person B, the Venus person. Both parties would very much enjoy the effects of this aspect. HOWEVER, If this same aspect existed between Person A's Venus and Person 'B's Moon as well, both parties would feel both effects. That is, they would make each other feel warm and affectionate, as well as and sentimental and homey. (I read that this aspect in particular tends to lead to an urge to have children together, because it creates a loving, nurturing atmosphere...ideal conditions for children to thrive in) Do you have this "mutual reception" with someone? What planets are involved? IP: Logged |

Hi Lioneye! Actually, the aspect I'm thinking of is a bit more tough (just a tad)...Sun/Moon square. But the one you mentioned sounds nice. How the heck are ya anyway? IP: Logged |

There's a book out there that does the delineations for all possible combinations of major aspects, using the same kind of A's planet, B's planet formula that lioneye68 mentions. The also comment on how these placements might sit with different genders, or whether the mutual reception is more suited to say, parent-child or student-teacher relationships than for romantic comparisons."The Astrology of Human Relationships" by Frances Sakoian & Louis S. Acker. IP: Logged |
