Hi guys

I was wondering if anyone can give me a little insight into someones chart. This person is a friend who I would like a little help understanding. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

He is:

Sun - Libra, Moon - Virgo, Merc - Scorp, Venus - Scorp, Mars - Leo, Jup - Virgo, Satu - Virgo, Ura - Scorp, Nept - Sag, Pluto - Libra.

Hi RRR
Would it be a problem for you to actually post the birth data? As it's much better to actually see the chart - as also will show aspects and house placements...plus we can also check what transits are going on.
Sue

PS: With Jupiter in Virgo they'll just be about to have their Jupiter return....also Saturn in Virgo..so Saturn return as well...

What does it mean to have a Jupiter return? I know it means that Jupiter will return to the placement it was when you were born, hense transitting Jupiter will conjunct natal Jupiter, but what I'm not sure about is how this effects us.
In Virgo in the 9th house? I have been more patient, respectful, interested in the minute details of Astrology lately, something which I couldn't really be bothered with before. I was mostly "big picture" about it before. Is that because I'm nearing my Jupiter return?

Hi Lioneye
Jupiter returns to it's natal position approx every 12 years. What was happening when you where 12, 24, etc ? Can you remember? For myself my natal Jupiter is in my 8th house and Jupiter rules my 4th house. For me I've found that every 12 years I have a new beginning (death and rebirth -Jupiter in Aries in the 8th) and also move house (Jupiter ruling my 4th). When I was 12 years old my grandfather died (4th house ancestry and 8th house)

Does that help you to see how it works?
Can you see a pattern in each of your returns?
Sue

Hi RubyRam and 'smooch' to Sue :-)

Sue and I have actually been discussing the Jupiter return quite a bit, Lioneye. I'm assuming that you also have a natal Jupiter of 9 Virgo, so you're due a return any day now. It moves on fairly quickly but retrogrades back to this position in May, 2004. Sag is your ascendant, and if natal Jupiter is in the 9th (and check your Pisces house cusp, too) this is all rather complementary.... learning skills and the gaining of might be current interests; and travel too... Looking forward to mine (in the 3rd, ruler of natal 7th and 10th houses; but have a feeling that nothing will happen until next May.... fingers crossed :-)
