HELLO THERE EVERYONE

I have a thought provoking topic at hand.Be prepared!

Looking @ my birthchart, I see that my moon, Jupiter, Neptune,Uranus is in Saggitarius.Followed by my Sun sign, Mercury,Pluto in Libra.Mars and Venus is in Virgo.
So you can see my birthchart is dominated by Sag, Libra, Virgo.
I want to ask is that when I look at my birthchart and see dominate signs, is it because that in my past life I was a Sag or a Virgo in my sun or ascendent or moon?
I know that when I was exactly born, those signs were in the sky!
But is there more to that then meets the eyes?
Surely your signs from your past lives will crept up in your present life?
Just intrigue!

They say that Saturn is planet of Karma and reincarnation. The sign that Saturn is in today, is you Sun Sun from your past life.

I thought you said that you were a Libra looking for a Cancer?

Hmmm. There seems to be conflicting opinion on this subject. I heard that you have to look to the moon's nodes, the south node determines where you've been, and the north node determines where you're going. They will always be in opposing signs. Either way, mine has to do with the sign Aries, as I have North Node, Saturn, and Chiron all in Aries. (all in the 4th, except Chiron, which is in the 5th)and South Node in Libra. So, I gather in my last life I was a Libra, or had heavy Libra influence in my "persona" and my goal is to become more Arien.

Oh I see. I have my South Node in Pisces and North Node in Virgo. My Chiron is in Aries and my Saturn is in Taurus.

Guess my goal is to get more integrated. LOL...just kidding. I had a Cayce report done that said I was on my last life. Hmm, I am still exploring the Karma issue. In some ways I believe, in others I am skeptical. What about you?

to add to pidaua, the transiting sun sign we pass away in is the sign we were in our most recent incarnation. from my own observations, a lot of people pass away in the sun sign of their natal saturn. but this is not always the case and depends on each soul and its path. a.

I can't attest to this myself, but my Astrology teacher said that our moon signs indicate the sex of our most recent previous lifetime. A masculine moon (i.e. Aries) indicates the last lifetime was spent as a male. A more feminine moon (i.e. Capricorn) indicates female.

Think of it what you will!

LOL...I was a dude!!!!

Lioneye,

I guess I mean that I have a hard time with the past life issue at times. It's like this huge concept that I am trying to understand, like trying to catch the individual droplets in a cloud. You know they exist, you can see the cloud, but you cannot hold it in your hands.

Do I believe in past lives? In a sense I do, but being a Sag I do have to question everything and chew on it. Not as much as my Virgo brothers and sisters, but still, I am a skeptic.

Well, yes I do. Having said that, I have a less conventional concept than the proverbial "they" have. I think we have the choice, if we wish to come back repeatedly, then nobody can stop us. If we're done with it all, and want to just "stay home", then we can do that too.
Those that do come back repeatedly are more adventurous/pioneering/valient/humanitarian/whathaveyou spirits.

Or, they've chosen to turn away from God and they keep coming back here to avoid confronting that truth. (and/or to try to drag others down with them. Misery does love company, afterall)

Also, some souls are determined to achieve a certain goal here, but keep encountering problems achieving it, due to circumstances that, although a necessary part of the set up, also make it difficult meet the goal. Because, say, for instance, they keep getting killed in violent demonstrations or something.

I always think of rebirth like this:

The body is like a car and the soul is like the driver. If the car wears out or gets wrecked, the driver gets out and moves on. He/she may get a new car, may walk for a while, may decide to take the bus...who knows for sure? I do know that anytime I have seen people (or amimals) who had passed away, I could definitely tell that no one was home any longer. I have also heard that the average person loses .8 pounds immediately after death. Some say that is what the soul weighs. I'm not too sure about that one. If I remember my physics correctly, energy doesn't actually have a weight. Of course, Physics was never my best subject!

I do Past Life Readings, at least I try to, I'm way behind on them at the moment. Anyway, I think that the Sould dosn't necessarally follow linearly. In other words, my past lifecycle before this one, dosn't necessarally have anything to do with this one. This lifecycle may be tied to a past life cycle that occurred several lives ago.

Just my 2 cents

I remember reading someplace that the signs follow an evolution line (actually a spiral), from flesh to spirit (aries to pisces); the soul follows through every sign, learning each experience and integrating each side of the story. When the soul gets to the end of the line (pisces) it starts all over again, this time at a new, higher, more integrated level (if, that is, it really has integrated the experiences and lesson it was meant to).

I can't remember if the stage the soul is currently in was told by the sun sign or the Asc. I'm a Cap Sun with Aqu Asc (Pis included in first), so for me it was like all clear, the moving on, Imean, and that's why I didn't pay attention...sorry

All this means that in my prev life I was a Sag (which is now my MC, opp Jup, Moon in 9th, which sorta seems to tie things together).

Of course, some people say that the sign of the Moon is the past life and what you'e lerned there....for all I know, what the Moon gives one certainly seems "known, familiar, so... I don't know

This is what I'e read....I believe that things are more complicated, taking into account every aspect and atribute of the chart, not just one. The final goal is learning stuff, and going through every side of life in order to get the big picture in the end....then you start all over again

Lanny,

I would really like to hear more about your theory. It sounds interesting and seems to make sense to me.

Aphrodite,

Thank you so much for the information. I had forgotten that I listed my parents and my own birth chart information.

It makes a lot of sense. My father is finally going to retire after 33 years in law enforcement with 28 years at the Department of Justice. He wants to just relax, get a handle on things and travel. It's kind of weird sense he has been on the go his entire life, from being in the Army as a Green Beret to joining the police force a couple of years after he got out.

My mother is facing her demons in the desert. She is having hard time living in Las Vegas without family, but her whole life she has been taken care of and surrounded by others that allowed her to live the finer life. Now, she is alone and must deal with that. She really goes through bouts of the "No body loves me, maybe I would be better off dead" thing. Guess my Aries moon isn't without reason (or my brothers Scorp moon).

At any rate, I love them both dearly and will look out for signs that they may need pep talk or someone to just listen to them.

Thanks again, you really are an angel.

This statement has my wholeheartd support. I always get annoyed when people want to create nice, LINEAR system to hold a universe. Why not try fractals instead.

I also firmly believe in reincarnation, for reasons that have nothing to do with astrology. And while I suppose that a birthchart can give information about one's past live(s) I am rather wary about the conclusions. And (being a pragmatic by heart) whether it helps a person?

Beacuse nothing can be really proved, everyone is free to toss out all kinds of ideas. (I read somewhere a text "you, capricorn, where probably among the native americans." ALL capricorns = native americans?? give me a break). Ironically, I have noticed that people who are toying with the idea of incarnation are usually unwilling to go beyond the known cultural phenomenas/situations and therefore give culture based judgements.
