What effect do rising signs have on compatibility between two people?IP: Logged |

The Ascendant of one partner's determines the house location of the other's planets in his or her chart. For example, if my 1st house is Aries, and my partner has Mars in Aries in her natal chart, that puts her Mars in my 1st house in a relationship chart. In the same example, if her Mars is in Taurus, that puts it in the 2nd house in my chart. Lanny IP: Logged |

Zerep The Ascendant-Descendant line has more to do with attraction than with compatibility. The Ascendant and first house contain a description of how we "look"--the impression we make, as we learned it from the adults in our childood. The Descendant and seventh house is the "I am not" portion of that description. It gets projected on others. This dynamic is represented by the phrase "other half." We are attract to others who appear to have what we believe to be missing in ourselves.

You may have a "secret" love affair with them.Or they may secretly be in love with you. THEY may not even be aware of it. Or, loving you may be their undoing. Or, you may represent a romantic "ideal" to them. Or, all of the above. Or, none of the above. That's astrology. IP: Logged |

Well, my venus is in my sisters 12th house, and I would have to say, that she and I are very close. I feel she is more like a mother to me. her 12th house/aries is also her rising. Those with their rising in the 12th house are very important to me.i think it's who makes you feel "home" and I seek out romantic partners who are very like her, emotionally. They care about home and family. I never had that with my parents so I feel she was my only guidance through the years. Natasha Taurus/6th house Sun IP: Logged |

well you could use it, but I never do (cheiron)Synastry in houses is so important for a reading, it's the third thing I check 1 synastry 2 composite 3 synastry in houses you can tell a lot about the relationships by looking at the houses. For example I have a friend who I used to be neighbours with, I was close to her mother at first then became friends with her. We always hang around at the house we rarely go out to eat and stuff when we meet. And my moon falls into her fourth house which means that you feel like you're family members even if you're not, you know eachother's family very well, and usually spend a lot of time at home. Yes Chiron is very useful. For example if one has a t-square revolving around the 4th house, she may have trouble with eating, and her partner may have Chiron conjunct his Sun and that says that person is a healer. So naturally they are attracted to eachother to heal her problem, once that's done they will feel less attracted to each other depending on where the houses fall.Once their purpose for the relationship is over, it will fall apart. If there is a strong Chiron aspect between the two, they are together for a healing. One is healing the other in some way, usually emotional, but sometimes physical. He may be her doctor or she may have been his nurse or vice versa. Or he may have helped her out financially. I used to be very attracted to Chiron conjunct Suns and it was always during a vulnerable time in my life. It's a good aspect but useful to a point. I have Chiron in the 4th so I do help others with their family issues and often become "family" to others. I deal with a lot of growing up issues, nurturing issues, children, self image, health. Since it's in Aries, I am very concious of it and have to restrain myself financially. Natasha IP: Logged |
