Hi Knowflakes,I just wanted to post a hello and say how much I've enjoyed reading your posts for months now! They are SO informative to me, and believe me, this sort of information is something that I need to have so I can deal much better with my "oh so simple and steady" watery moon... my watery moon? simple and steady? NOT! lol. So thanks for being so open and honest on this board like you always are. It's been wonderful finding out from you all that I'm not actually that alone in looking to the stars and such for understanding about things that I can't readily explain very well.
I hope I get a lot of chances to post back here very soon!

lol, it's not that you guys scared me or anything and that's why I didn't post here before, lol. I just didn't think I had the time to get that involved with actually posting and replying to people on yet another message board until this fall, so I just kept it to scanning on this one for a while. I post about other things around the Internet, but not on anything astrological until now though.
I LOVE astrology so far, and I do want to learn more about it.
All I know is that I tend to swing like mad between thinking things through to death and then sort of collapsing and becoming very emotional about things later on afterwards.
Is that like a tug of war between the Aquarius and Pisces influences or something?
I find that a whole LOT of my fears and sadness sometimes comes from my unconscious, and I can't for the life of me even figure out why I'm reacting to things the way that I am a lot of the time.

Definately a good dose of emotionalism with the fishy moon, there Playful. That's a nice touch for a nonemotional Aqua sun/merc. Also, singletons are notorious for being unpredictable, they're like a freelance photographer or something...they get their inspirations from within, because they don't really have to answer to anyone. Singletons get their inspirations from transits, but how they respond is anyone's guess. I have a water singleton as well, Neptune in Scorpio in the 12th. I always get confused when trying to figure out how it plays out. The 12th house is so murkey, even thinking clearly about it is hard. Weird.Having said that, I think the sign, Aquarius tends to experience emotions in sudden fits and starts as well. Most of the time, the urge is to rationalize, analyze, look at situations at an emotional "arm's length" away, but then be hit over the head with the sudden realization of how they feel about someone/something. Aquarius tends to be "blown away" with the realization that they really DO feel a certain way about something. Almost like the feeling is an alien or something. My moon is Aquarius, and my emotional responses are never immediately realized. I can think about something for hours, day, weeks even months unemotionally, then all of a sudden... BAM!! Holy crap!!! I love someone!!! Or BAM!!! My God, that makes me so sad, and I can't stop crying about it for a week straight. It's very odd. But that's the way the Uranian ruled sign works, so who are we to question it? IP: Logged |

You know, I didn't relate the mood swings I can have sometimes to that Uranian influence I have in my horoscope all that much until you mentioned it to me. I was actually thinking much more along the lines of the two fish in the Pisces symbol being the cause of most of that instead. But yes, of course, Uranus would probably have a definite impact on all of that too. I chose my long funny name because those two qualities seem to be exactly what I go back and forth between so often now. It's like sometimes I'm really playful and creative like I've heard Pisces can be on one hand, and then sometimes I'm really thoughtful and worried, like I've heard that Pisces can also be on the other hand too. lol, if you want to shorten my name in replies to me though, all you have to do is call me PPFM if you want to do that. Yes, I am another Aquarius. Although, I haven't decided if being ahead of my time like Aquarians are rumored to be is really a very good thing for me or not yet however, lol.
