It was so beautiful last night to see the moon. I promised to wake my little boy up so he could watch with me, at 2 am we got snuggled up in coats and mitts and hats and lots of pillows and blankets and went out to watch the moon. When we got out there there was just a little silver sliver of moon, the rest was a glorious orange. We got so lucky on the weather, it was about 8° (about 47°F) and perfectly clear. What I noticed was a star formation that formed a very definite "arrow" pointing directly to another star not too far away...did anyone else see that??? I couldn't help but think that this was supposed to be the same sky that the magii saw at Jesus' birth. I know I was very awed by seeing that.

It was real quality time with my baby (he's almost 7)last night. This morning he came into my bed to snuggle with us and kissed me and said how much he really liked it last night. Well, he really said "wow that was way cool with the moon and stuff last night"

It was stunning.

Yup, yup! It was perty neat! My sweetie and I watched it whilst BBQ'ing some steaks. It was a perfectly clear sky last night, too..so we had a good, unobstructed view. (besides the trees, that is...he lives on an acreage surrounded by woods...in true 12th house Venus fashion, he likes secluded places)

Anyway, it was fascinating in a kind of spooky, mysteriously kind of sad way...can't explain how it made me feel. Kind of melancholy and fearful...but also energized...weird.
I guess it just felt spooky.
