hi

I just recently started learning about synastry and i'm finding it a little confusing

i was wondering if anyone could shed some light on pluto's role in synastry charts, especially when pluto is prominent in the natal charts of the two involved

i know pluto is mostly a generational influence, but i ran a synastry chart for myself and a friend, and my pluto makes a lot of aspects to their personal planets(like pluto conjunct moon). pluto is also very influential in both of our charts. is there any signifigance to this?

also, if a person has a natal aspect like venus square pluto, and in synastry their venus is square their partner's pluto, what kind of effect does that have? does it intensify the aspect?

if anyone could give me a little insight/experience with this, i'd be extremely appreciative! thanks for any replies!:-)

Pluto is very important in relationship synasty readings. It is usually involved with how power is used within the relationship by one or both of the indiduals. It also can indicate sexual attraction.

For example, Your Pluto conjunct his Moon - in this sensitive relationship your intense energy can overpower his feelings and emotional sensitivities. You may try to remake him in some basic ways that will affect the relationship. Also indicates strong sexual attraction within the relationship.

Hope that this helps.

Some Pluto aspects in Synastry can relate to the "svengali" effect, where one almost totally controls the other.

Now, Corri -- what you reckon that means? lololol ANyhow, I have a natal Venus Pluto trine - just thinking about the intensity -- hehe and lol.

Pluto Trine Venus - this aspect indicates intense sexual attraction. You can help him to be more sensitive to the needs of others, and he can help you understand your spirituality, and the need to be actively engaged in self-improvement activities. He can also help you understand the occult.

Thankya, Lanny

And that's w/ my Pluto trine his Venus?

(His Pluto's sextile my NN and Mars.)

Niki - Mine's not that active (in the 12th only making the generational aspect w/ Neptune and a minor one w/ my Sun - although it is my only cardinal), but Jase's is kinda nuts:
Saturn Conjunct Pluto
Moon Opposition Pluto
Sun Square Pluto
Venus Trine Pluto
Mars Trine Pluto
Neptune Sextile Pluto
Pluto Sextile Midheaven

I rather like it
