I was thinking about addictions, paricularily, my own. I tend to take things and run with them....( not scissors though, I learned in Kindergarten THAT was wrong!) But normal things, like chocolate for instance. Someone will like chocolate, understandably, but I will crave it, melt it on my tongue, fully enjoy each piece and then want to recreate that feeling from memory and savour everything about it. I use chocolate as an example, but it is everything. I guess I have a passionate nature, because I don't like things, I LOVE them. I want them again and again. It isn't the individual behaviour patterns in myself that worry me so much as the NEED for things. The completeness I get from random things, it seems somewhat unhealthy. I smoke, for instance, and though I have tried everything, I guess I am not ready to let go of the feelings I associate with it. It all comes down to memory and feeling. It is hard to describe, but I have to watch what I allow myself, and keep things under control, as things easily overtake me.
My question is....Is this a neptune thing? Isn't it fantasy, illusion, hidden things? My neptune is in Sag, in the fifth house. I would think though, being a Scorpio sun, my fixedness would allow me to temper my addictive tendancies....Plus my fixed Leo Asc. Can anyone shed some light? Or tell me their experiences or insights? Thank you!

Oh, Pixlepixie, Buddy...we had a flaming thread all about that subject a while ago. It actually started out by the question of what element seems to come out strongest when you're loaded as opposed to when your straight. The thread starter seemed to think his Pisces moon was brought to life when he was in party mode. And of course, illegal substances were discussed in great length, and which signs seem to enjoy indulging the most, and, by the way, we all seemed to agree that Leo and Scorpios were among the biggest indulgers. I'll go a-hunting for it for you, and pull it up k? It got rather heated at times too, as you know it's a subject that some feel rather strongly opposed to. Heck, what HAVEN'T we argued about in here!?
