Hi! I´m new here but I have been into astrology for some time.I´ve just started reading about transits. When I read my chart I noticed that I have 5 retrogrades in my chart,(mars/jupiter/uranus/neptunus/pluto). I have no idea what retrogrades are, and if they are important in a chart...??

Welcome Danni. I'm not the best astrologer here by any stretch if the imagination, but I may be able to help with this. When a planet is retrograde, it appears to be moving backward in the sky. I'm not perfectly sure what effect that has on your birth chart, but when Mercury (or recently, Mars) goes retrograde, you can expect some unusual challenges / opportunities.IP: Logged |

What I know thusfar is when you have planets Retrograde in your chart, those areas are like blinds spots for you. Not necessarily negative or more difficult, but that you are not as consciously aware of them. They would probably present more of a challenge in some respects, but basically as much as you want to take on or is necessary. with love & support, .gloria ------------------ it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness... Danni, no worries - I have tons of retros in my chart (my Merc, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto = all Rx), and I've not yet dropped dead from the weight of 'em. IP: Logged | |
