Does any one else out there think that our astrology traits also apply to our pets? I do, I have a cat who is an Aquarius and alot of the traits apply to her! She is very intelligent,yet very odd( to put it in a nice way), and can also be very cranky! She also likes to be friends with most other cats! She is really different than any other cats I've had or known! I know each is unique, but she takes the cake!!
What are your thoughts?

My dog is an Aries just like me, he hated to be cuddled but I forced him when he was a pup to get used to me kissing his head all the time, and now he loves it. And he's Veeeeery impatient and quite macho!IP: Logged |

AriesRocks! ha ha your dog definately sounds like an Aries! I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees the personality traits in pets, some people I know think I'm crazy! I thought it was maybe because I have an Aquarius asecendant! Or it could be the moon in Sagittarius! Anyhow I'm glad to know I'm not the only one, thanks for your reply!IP: Logged |

Lol, oh my gosh, I know just what you mean about pets displaying the traits of their signs too because my dog has a 3 planet stellium in Pisces.She is so skittish, so very nervous. I have even considered getting her some anti- anxiety medication to calm her down a bit. I think that Pisces can sometimes be that way, because I have a Pisces Moon, and I feel that has some bearing on my own nerves too. And, oh my gosh, I'll put her outside to "do her business," you know, lol, and it's like, she takes about five minutes just to remember what it is she's supposed to be doing out there in the first place after she starts to see and hear and smell all of the different things that are around her outside, lol. Very easily distracted like Pisces can be. And she also has some of the most gorgeous dark "drown in me" Pisces eyes which I've ever seen on a dog, as did another Pisces dog I had growing up, who, unfortunately, also displayed much skittishness and nervousness in her own "dog life" too. But however, I do know this other Capricorn dog down the road who NEVER wastes time going to the bathroom at all, and who is very "foucused on business" like is per the Cappy Sign, lol, and who also loves to dig up the dirt in his front yard, which is also very typical of an Earth Sign that likes to play in the Earth, you know. I could go on about other pets that I know, but suffice it to say that yes, there is definitely a link between pet's Zodiac signs and their behavior, at least in my opinion.

PlayfulPonderingFishMoon, Thanks for your reply! lol your dog sounds funny! Yes, Pisces usually have beautiful eyes! I'm glad you notice the links between the signs and thier behavior too! I wonder if my cat has some Pisces too!? She is extremely skittish! She is also very easily traumatized! I had a Vet come to make a house call, he gave her a couple of needles in our bathroom and she would not go in there for a month! She would peek in and run by! IP: Logged |

Everything I read about my dog in Pet Astrology books or newsletters applies perfectly.He's an Aquarius. You always have to watch they don't wander off and keep them on a leash because they get distracted keep going and going and going... Also Aquarius dogs are supposed to be very sensitive to electricity. They sometimes like to lay close to electrical applicances. My dog is SO sensitive to it that during a lightening storm, he literally feels the electrical energy and reacts to it. They may even be prone to occasional (not more than once a month) seizures around quick flashing lights like the TV set or the Computer. True to his fixed sign, he is a ROUTINE dog, like a built-in clock he has. And then at the same time, a bolt of Uranian lightening will hit him and he'll come up with something totally new and AMAZING. I'll tell people that after about an hour meeting him, they will have conversations with my dog. They're like... yeah... right... conversations? Yeah... conversations... And it NEVER fails. My dog does not give up until he's figured out how to connect with someone, and even people who do not particularly like dogs, will BE HAVING A CONVERSATOIN WITH HIM... He is a genius dog. I've always treated him like he understands everything, so, he does. He understands complete sentences, and in conversations he understands the concept of past, present and future. When I was younger we had a Pisces dog, and he had those expressive SAD eyes, and slept a lot. Not happy dog like this dog. .gloria ------------------

My little Bichon Frise dog is a Leo,
he certainly shows lots of the traits.
He can be pushy and bossy ( with the cat) but most of all he has lovely thick white curls. The Leos I know have lovely thick hair. IP: Logged |

My kitty is a little Aries, and she's such a little spaz! She wants to fight all the time, she attacks thin are and anything that moves...you can't move when you're under blankets because she'll immediately pounce on you. And when you play fight with her, damn! she's so vicious!  She gets really ticked off at closed doors and will sit and moew quite loudly at them, and if she's really annoyed she bats her paw under the door. You'll see this little white paw batting at air from under the door while you're having a bath or something. LOL. She's so affectionate though. Goes into a state of extacy when you pet her and scratch her right. IP: Logged |

my cat is a pisces. she is such a chameleon. she is very skittish and when she is quite comfy in my lap, and hears any noise, she jumps up and if its loud enough, she runs and hides. she cuddles like nobodies business too. she bellies up to me and sleeps the night away, sometimes for 7 hours. she also loves water, and when i am in the shower, she comes and sits right beside it, and tries to get the water. As soon as I am out of the shower, she runs in and starts licking. Sometimes she just likes to sit in the shower (when the water is off). She will only drink water from a running source, or the shower. Her eyes are amazing too. They are a beautiful seafoam green. She wants attention all the time. My dog is an aquarius. She is crazy. It is said that aquarius dogs are totally bonkers. Yes, she is. She is the sweetest dog, but very bonkers. She wants to be everyones friend, and when you are just standing there, and not petting her, she will paw you until you do. She is a funny dog. IP: Logged |

Awwww, this is such a cute topic, I love looking at pets astrology, they always seem to be like there signs, don't they!!?
Leo cats are so proud and affectionate, and Aries are so adventurous, mine was always running around sniffing everything and demanding attencion if she walked into the room!!!
