Hey Archer:

The most important planet is your Sun because as Linda said, no matter what influences you have in your chart, you must remain true to your Sun sign.

Other than the obvious Moon & Asc being important, if you have a T-Square in your wheel, the planets involved are important, especially what's in the empty space.

A Singleton can become a focal point in your chart, it's when you have only one planet in a certain element. Like Leo being the only fire sign in your chart.

That's keeping it simple.

In my opinion, the most important planet in a natal chart is your ascendant's ruler.

Really Lanny? Why?

So once I find that, do I look and see what house the planet is in? That kind of thing?

Ever since I read Linda's book many many moons ago about the discovery of the planet which would be tied to Taurus (instead of sharing Venus), I've been waiting for big announcements.

Should be still use Venus for Taurus?

Archer:

A T-square is when you look at your wheel, and you have a big empty space. It's not something a lot of people know a lot about, but you'd just have to find out if you have one.

A Singleton - look at your chart and see if you have anything in only one element, like your Mercury in Leo, and the Leo is the ONLY fire sign in the whole chart.

Sorry if I didn't make it understandable. But I encourage you to study up on these things. No one starts out knowing everything.

Yes, once the Ascendant's ruler is known, its Sign, House and aspects affect the individual's expression of self in the world.

For example my ascendant is Saturn, having a Cap Ascendant, so Saturn's 5th House Taurus location, along with its Conjunction to Uranus, sextile Moon, Trine Sun & Neptune conbine to indicate the area where I will manifest my self-expression.

Interesting....
So, Lanny.... My ascendant ruler would be Sun, in that I have Leo rising, so my fourth house Scorpio Sun would then be more important in my relation to the world...????? ( as if it wasn't already..lol)
Thanks...

A square is an aspect three signs away from the sign you are referring to. Draw up a chart, with your ascendant at the position of 9:00 on a clock, and draw the planets in successive order from the asc, counter clockwise. You can easily do it yourself, allowing you to gather your own vibrations and conclusions. Squares are usually "hard"/ difficult/non-harmonious energy... but you can find explanations, or even get a chart drawn for you under free horoscopes on www.astro.com .

Archer:

You don't have a Singleton because you have at least 2 of every element.

You know the order the signs are in right?
Jan - Cap, Feb - Aq, March - Pis, April - Aries.... etc.

Well, if you count 3 from any sign that would be a Square. Example: Libra is Square to Cap = Start at Oct... then 1 Nov, 2 Dec, 3 Jan

Another Square: Virgo Square Sag = Start at Sept... then 1 Oct, 2 Nov, 3 Dec

A Square is 90% between signs. Each sign is worth 30%. 3 X 30 = 90
