Can anyone shed light on the astrology used by Leonard DaVinci in his depictions of the 12 Disciples?IP: Logged |

I had no idea that astrology was even taken into account by DaVinci! Though I have to say that I'm not surprised. Brilliant minds think alike. I'm curious to learn more about this.Welcome Mentor! IP: Logged |

Hmmm, what leads you to believe that he did infact incorporate astrology into his depiction of the apostles, and I'm assuming you mean in The Last Supper? And welcome! Forgot to say that... IP: Logged |

I learned about Da Vinci's great interest in astrology form one of my mentors, Beredene Jocelyn, who with her husband wrote Meditations On the Signs of the Zodiac. She gives the astrological descriptions of the 12 disciples in a lesson I have posted on www.onlinehumanities.com IP: Logged |

I've always thought it was strange that Christianity claims that Jesus was a Capricorn- I always thought he had to be a Piscean, maybe even an Aquarius. Then I read somewhere- don't remember where- that it basically says in the Bible that Jesus was born in March. Is this true?------------------ "Out of your depth or not, it's up to you whether you sink or swim." IP: Logged |

I read somewhere that it was channeled by Edgar Cayce that Jesus was a Piscean, but it doesn't really matter because Jesus was a Master of all the signs/Zodiac. ------------------ What wisdom can you find that is greater than kindness? -- Jean-Jacques Rousseau IP: Logged |

Linda had her own thoughts on the birthday of Jesus. Read about it in her Star Notes, available on this website. Check for the thread in Free For All. IP: Logged |

I was not able to locate Linda Goodman's ideas about the birth of Jesus. Can you tell me what they were?IP: Logged |

Jesus heralded in the Piscean Age, but Linda actually had reason to believe that Jesus was a Leo. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Jesus as a Pisces always seemed more fitting to me than any other sign, personally. He was a healer, He was sensitive and not afraid to show His emotions, He was gentle and kind, and of course, other-wordly...IP: Logged |

Maybe it's just my imagination, but I'm sure I read somewhere that Linda said Jesus was his own Sun Sign and above all other signs - which I think would make him Pisces... But then Star Notes said Leo, so I doubt myself, but it does make sense to me that he was Pisces. She also said all of the disciples were every other sign and hence all were represented. I think maybe Star Signs? I'll have to check.Dean. ------------------ Live Life and Love Like Doves! Linda definitely said Jesus was a Leo and said that Judas Iscariot was a Scorpio and "doubting" Thomas was a Virgo. That's all I know for sure. Interestingly enough, many Jewish people believe that the Messiah will be born on the 9th day of Av, which in many years corresponds to the beginning of August. Although it is easy to see how each of the 12 Disciples represents a different sun sign, there is a very big "fly in the ointment" when it comes to the birth of Jesus. This is because if you look carefully at the gospels of Matthew and Luke, you will find two stories of the birth of Jesus, not one. Two birth circumstances, two genealogies, two stories through the age of 12. Therefore, incredible as it might seem, there are two dates for the birth of Jesus if you really want to take the Bible seriously.IP: Logged |
