Ok, lol, the astrological newbie is going to get really embarrassed for a moment here... I think that I have seen references to something called "a progression chart" here before.
Like, I actually thought that I had seen posts about it being a chart based on how the planets in your natal chart moved and changed positions significantly in some way, and this chart would tell you just where they are at this point now or something?
I don't know, am I totally off base about this? Did I misunderstand or something?
I am almost positive that I have seen this term before, and I think that it might mean something like this, but I'm not sure.
Thanks so much for any help you can offer to me about this!

Lol, so I guess no one knows what I mean then, lol. No one knows what I'm talking about when I mention "progressions" and how hard it is to do them in a chart?
It seems like these things have been mentioned in reference here before.
Maybe it's all about when someone wants to predict just when a certain planet WILL BE transiting their whatever House or something like that, so they know when the best time to undertake a specific project really is or something like that?
I really thought I had seen references to something called "progressions" here before.
Oh well, thanks anyway, lol. IP: Logged |

Playful, you can get a progressed chart done at Astro.com, and yes, it's exactly what Niki said. It advances your planets by as many days as you are in years, and looks at the aspects made both to it's own planets, and the planets in your natal chart.A progressed chart based on a day when you were 30 would actually be a natal chart based on the day exactly 30 days after you were born. Somehow, there is symmetry between a day and a year, astrologically speaking. It's a usefull chart for predictive astrology, as well as seeing general life themes during a certain period of time.
