It is a unique pairing.
The only explanation I can come up with for attracting a Scorpio sign is that maybe I have an Aquarius/Pisces cusp?
Let me know if I'm way off base on that assumption.

No, you are far from the cusp. You are Aquarius. I think you have a Cappy Rising, and if you're good with money or have social stature, that may attract the Scorp. Could be House placements.

But I think the basic thing is how devoted YOU are, and if you communicate well.

Demi Moore has lots of Scorp planets. Ashton Kutcher has lots of Aqua planets.

Julia Roberts (Scorp) married to an Aqua.

It's interesting. I do know Scorpio and Aquarius have a tremendous respect for each other, they way each one's mind works fascinates.

But your friend also has that Cancer Moon, and that's even more rare a union. He's VERY emotional.

I've also seen at least one other (successful) such pairing.
My Grandmother (Aqua Sun, Taurus Moon, Cappie Rising) and Grandfather (Scorp Sun, Pisces Moon) were married from about the age of 18/-19 (she's a year older than him) til he died in his mid-sixties.
From the outside, it didn't seem like a "mild" marriage - they'd challenge and argue with each other - but there always seemed to be a lot of respect and genuine caring there.

So far,Ive learned (astrologically speaking) that my bf has a Sun in scorpio, his Moon in Cancer and a Midhaven in Libra... Can anyone on the boards tell me if those 3 things are a good combination? Thanks!!
