grr posted twice and hadnt even finished my Q - sorry about that everyone.

My Q is this : he is your typical Sag always happy and friendly, like a big puppy really, always laughing and very happy to see everybody, always the life and woul of the party.

He gives the impression that he has no problems, that life is just great and so on. Anyhow, this week he really opened up to me. Spent 30 minutes telling me about some really personal stuff and emotions.

How should I analyze this? Is this normal behaviour for a Sag? To tell deep emotional things to people you dont really know that well? Or shoudl I take it as a good sign that the relatiionship is developing well, becoming much more intimate?

Personally, I have to know someone a long time to really show my vulnerablility, so its hard for me to understand this behaviour.
I dont want to misread it, but I took it as a positive that he was willing to share emotional intimacy with me.

Oh his Merc is in Sag also, I guess that may be important as this is a question about communication.
Thanks everyone!

Hi Starflower,

For a Sag, most of the time, when we open ourselves up intimately, then we also open up ourselves emotionally. At that point we have already evaluated you, knew we could trust you and there is already a seed of love that we have for you. So, when we know that and we are ready - then we open up.

To some, it may be scary - to see the other side of us- the side that gets sad and has "issues". My advice is to listen - but don't patronize - we can smell that a mile away and that hurts us more than anything.

When he tells you these things, ask him how he feels - be a positive influence for him. At some point, he will also expect you to open up to him. Us Saggies can give you your freedom, space and time, but we do need to know what is going on in your mind from time to time.

Also, here is a little known thing about us, yes we do like affection (not the glob on always kissy stuff) but we need to have that physical link. We also need to "hear" how you feel about us. He may be more responsive to the subtle cues because of his Pisces moon, but we still like to hear "I love you - care about you...etc.." because we are "in the moment".

To some people saying "I love you" should be used very sparingly, but not to most of us Saggies. Once we say it, we love to keep saying it and hearing it.

I hope this helps.
