does anybody have one or many planets in the 7th house? i was just wondering, what kind of mate(sun sigh type) would one be inerested in if i have my venus in 25 degrees taurus in my 7th house? a taurus? i know that the 7th house is supposed to indicated the marriage partner. what kind of partners can i expect to hook up with? so far, i'm attracted quite a few virgos, Saggs, capricorns. my current boyfriend is a virgo with his venus and mercury in libra.

Passion, your 7th houses would be LIKE minded but do not have to be the same, your 7th house is Venus oriented and your mate's is too. It's more a matter of what you are pointing to, in terms of a goal in a relationship, not towards another person. Another person is not the goal, the relationship is, so you would be attracted to those who have the same goals.

My 7th house is ruled by mercury and my mates tend to have mercury in the 6th, or third, in Gemini, Virgo or Scorpio. My moon is in the 8th house and my Neptune is in Scorpio/12th house.

Be sure to look at Neptune for relationships.

So do you see how you can't use just one aspect to tell you anything? You must look at the entire chart. What is your birthdate?

Wow Gloria, Pluto on the 7th? that is intense, I think you look for a partner that brings emotional intensity to the front of the relationship. Both of you work on emotional goals, making music, working together, taking care of emotions. You may meet a counsellor or therapist and feel bonded with him, or a musician who is gentle and caring. What did the Taurus ex do for a living?

4evag, you have 7th house/Aqua, You feel the need to be with someone socially who is intellectual and reserved to feel pride about the person you spend time with. Yyour whole being is infused with love for yourself when you are with a new romantic companion. You need mental stimulation and like read, write and discuss, films, plays and poetry with your writer/or intellectual mate, that's my take.

Autumn Wind, I will take a look.

I have Mercury in Gemini on the 7th BTW very close to my Sun. My partners love to talk and socialize and flirt:<(see my thread on Cap/Taurus), write, go to plays, and make movies and works of art-lawyers too. I understand how a 7th house Aqua would try to "wrap his head around" a girl. I often try that too, and get a headache! If it's starting to work, it's working.

Hi Natasha,

Whom do you feel is good for someone with Scorpio on their Descendant with Neptune in their 7th House?

And how about whom is good for someone with Libra on their Descendant with Jupiter in their 7th House?

Thanks for any and all help you can grant me!

You are one of the BEST when it comes to this!

And I just read about your sorrow in the other thread a second ago.

I am so sorry about what you are going through right now.

Getting dumped sucks, pure and simple.

Natasia - THANK YOU thank you THANK YOU!

and WOW!

I do always get along with people who are into psychology, and am currently beginning a relationship with a mentor. (But he's married already)...

As for musicians, I could do that, except I haven't met any who aren't kind of arrogant. But I'm definately mesmerized by some.

Good insights! Thanks...

I also have Scorpio on the descendant with Neptune in the 7th, opposing Venus in the 1st in Taurus.

As a kid I actually believed a knight in shining armor would come along and sweep me off my feet.

I have been told Neptune in the 7th is someone you have unresolved karma issues with.

And I have to be disillusioned about that too?

Autumn Wind, you also have Pluto in the 7th see Gloria's interpretation above.

And you have Mars and Mercury and Mercury there too! Mercury would make you find a lover who is on the intelligent side, a teacher or mentor would be ideal but be careful not to let your intellect be played down to. This aspect either likes to play who's on top, and the key is balance and equality in the relationship. Do not agree when you want to disagree or subordinate your intelligence to another, no matter how talented.

I know a lot about that having that aspect myself, I have been involved with two professors. I prefer an equal relationship now and I do not doubt my intelligence, no matter what.

Your moon is very important in love
From astro.com
Moon in the Eleventh House    11th hs

You will be most attracted to a lover who has a good deal of class and breeding, and you do all you can to help the person you love become more successful in the world. Indeed, your own presence and style have this effect.

You have a certain ability to create social harmony among disparate people and can turn a lackluster gathering into a good party. It's fine that you enjoy such social occasions, but don't neglect those intimate moments alone with your lover.

You may renew relationships with old flames periodically throughout your life.

The Moon in Love

AstroClick® Love

Moon in Sagittarius

Even in scenes that would cause others to be downhearted or discouraged, you can find a spark of laughter and mirth that brightens the situation and makes it more enjoyable.

You should find a lover who shares your easygoing and broad approach to life.

Probably you have a very rich fantasy life, which some people might consider overabundant. But you create fantasies for their own sake basically, and you enjoy creating them as much as fulfilling them.

In the long run, your style of loving is more in the spirit of a warm, friendly fireplace on a late fall night: merry, comforting, the essence of happy comradeship.

This is from astro.com on some of your other aspects:
Mars in the Seventh House    7th hs

You may gravitate toward rather intense, strenuous relationships in which both you and your partner emit and demand a great deal of energy.

You should be particularly careful that your respective roles within the relationship are clear, to avoid disputes over what territory is whose.

However, you are best off with a regular partner who is around much of the time, for you derive a great deal of your energy and drive from your partner, if only through inspiration.

Mars in Love
Mars in Virgo

You are a very careful, sensitive lover who gives much thought to making sure that the atmosphere and setting for love are just right.

In general you prefer a well-appointed room with all the accouterments so that you are in control of the overall situation and can concentrate on the more delicate details of intimacy.

Your most outstanding characteristic is attentiveness to the myriad particulars of sex - all the tiny nuances that make it an endlessly varied pursuit. But take care to keep spontaneity alive!

Mercury Conjunct Mars

You express yourself directly and forcefully, and you put a lot of energy into what you say to your lover.

Speak forcefully only when you plan to carry through on your words, or you will find that no one takes you seriously.

You may derive a certain stimulation from debating and arguing with your partner. In fact, you are more likely to argue with your lover than with a stranger, for that is a form of affectionate expression for you. Step carefully in this area and argue only when you know your partner will not be annoyed.

You are able to express your love with great conviction, which can be most valuable to a verbally oriented lover.

Mars Conjunct Pluto

You are likely to be quite wilful in pursuing your pleasure, and when you have decided to do something, nothing can stop you.

Whether you play an active or a passive role, you throw yourself into loving with a will. Sex is not usually a playful matter for you, but quite all-encompassing and total.

As an outgrowth of the pleasure you find in going to extremes, you may enjoy lovemaking that is fairly forceful or even violent. You and your lover must be in complete agreement as to the direction and the extent to which it can be pursued and still fall within the confines of pleasure.

Moon Square Mars

You may tend to fly off the handle when you encounter an obstacle or when you cannot make things work out just as you want. Of course, this tendency will have a negative influence upon your love life, since love does not usually flourish in an atmosphere of temper tantrums.

But in most cases you should try to curb this tendency. When you feel the flush of anger coming on, try to calm down and restrain yourself.

Some of your problems may result from trouble with initiation and timing of lovemaking. When you have the energy, you may not be in the mood, and vice versa. You can get around this problem somewhat by agreeing in advance on a specific time for lovemaking when you know you will have the energy.

Pluto in the Seventh House    7th hs

One of your main concerns in life is having a partner, and that need may sometimes outweigh all others in your life.

Although you are likely to form very strong long-lasting partnerships, an unscrupulous lover may take advantage of your overwhelming need. If this situation occurs, it will be your fault for permitting it as much as your partner's for playing on your weakness.

This same motivation may cause you to try to control or tie your lover down with unnecessary commitments in order to assure yourself that the relationship will continue.

Rather, give your lover maximum freedom, even if that is worrisome at first. Time will bring you the security you long for, as the relationship grows increasingly stable.

Pluto in Virgo

As a rule, your generation is more demanding and particular about what is required in a relationship than earlier generations have been.

However, insisting on so many conditions in a relationship may make it difficult or impossible to fulfil.

This can be a particular problem if your personal style is rather relaxed and undemanding. In that case you must learn to attend more carefully to the details of a relationship so that your needs and those of your partner are fulfilled as much as possible.

If your style is at odds with that of your peers and an affair becomes just too nit-picking, you may have to give it up.

Mercury Conjunct Pluto

You are likely to place considerable importance on intellectual communication in a relationship. You prefer to have the upper hand intellectually in an affair, but you should avoid personal power struggles to bring this about.

If your partner does not agree with you on some matter, do not make it a matter of pride to force your opinion on him or her. Instead, respect your lover's thoughts, and if they don't match yours, reconsider your own views.

You value deep, penetrating thought, and you don't usually approach a subject lightly. However, you should take time to enjoy the more frivolous side of love, where pleasure is its own reward and no probing questions are asked.

By learning to be more light-hearted, you can direct your intellectual and emotional energies better.

Moon Square Pluto

You have a deeply rooted need to be in control of emotional situations, but you must learn to handle this desire with care. It is quite difficult to succeed in love and at the same to have total control over your partner, so some adaptation is necessary.

It is possible to satisfy this need in part by making clear assignments of responsibility within a relationship so that each of you knows who is in charge of what.

Make your relinquishment of power in certain areas a special gift of love to your partner; your trust will help cement the relationship and enrich your mutual commitment.

Saturn Trine Pluto

You have a quality of great endurance that will enable you to go through considerable hardship to make a good relationship succeed.

The changes that take place are not usually initiated by you, because once you have settled into a comfortable affair, you are not likely to change it hastily.

When you do work for change, it is not your style to force the issue, but to let it work out naturally.

Make a special attempt to be receptive to your lover's suggestions about new ideas and be willing to go along, even if you are somewhat sceptical.

Pluto Trine Ascendant

Probably you have a deep inner confidence and pride in your body, which makes you an excellent, consistent lover, whether or not you fit the popular social image of one.

To this extent, you can help a lover who is less aware of bodily pleasures, who has not learned how lucky the soul is to have a body to enjoy.

This does not mean that you will never have any sexual problems. However, they will not be inner or basic problems, but ones that are caused and resolved by circumstances.

Autumn Wind you have a good chart for being in the public eye, most of your planets are above the horizon, you like to be seen and people like to see you in public. Plus you have a lot of 8th house energy. Check your transits (Under Free Horoscopes-Forecast) at astro.com to see what's happening with your planets this month. I check it every month. Your Sun is conjunct Uranus which gives an electric quality and is another good indicator of public work.

Also very important-Your moon is the only fire sign in your chart, making it a singleton. That means you feel things instinctively. It's a powerful aspect and you ought to read up on it. Sag and the moon together will make you want to travel or be in the public eye. Are your lovers ever jealous? I have this aspect in Cancer/8th house and it creates jealousy in love. I am a quiet person but I am always in the public eye due to my moon singleton. Make sure to find a partner who can handle your public image.

Playful Fish, do you have the birthdate and place? It's a lot easier that way. Jupiter in the 7th likes to be in a relationship and will put up with a lot to stay in one. It's an excellent aspect for long term commitment and marriage in a partner. Jupiter in the 7th relies on partnerships in love and work, and has to be told once in a while to be independent.

Neptune in the 7th creates a need for a stable hand in a partnership, and one who supports the other emotionally in creative projects, maybe giving credit for some joint project in the arts. If this person has both aspects than a strong committed and loyal partner is essential, especially one who is good with finances, since Neptune and Jupiter are not planets that result in savings if the mood strikes.

Take Care Playful Pisces!

12th house Aries, is your Sun in the 12th? If so you would have high expectations of your partner because you have high expectations for yourself. Do not fret because even the fruit on the vine that looks good isn't, it's what's inside that counts. (and others will see this in you)

As long as you seek others based on your emotional expectations you will never be disappointed. Neptune aspects cause disappointment only in the physical realm. The goal is to transcend (rise above the ordinary) and everything will come together. This can be tough if you have planets in Virgo. Do you? Let me know.

Whew! Natasia Dahling... you are on a roll!

I forgot to respond to your question earlier about what that Taurus did for a living. He's an architectual engineer. (not a counselor & not a musician)...

Also, I was reading what you wrote for Playful Fish:

"Neptune in the 7th creates a need for a stable hand in a partnership, and one who supports the other emotionally in creative projects, maybe giving credit for some joint project in the arts. If this person has both aspects than a strong committed and loyal partner is essential, especially one who is good with finances..."

And it really POPPED OUT at me. She would be the type of person who would receive that very thing she needs. And when I read that, it was like THAT'S ME! BUT I won't get that support.

This is profoundly interesting to me and I'm trying to figure out the dynamics at play. In other words, you know how difficult it's been to ask for help or for what I need. If the above is something I need, I'd like to know how to attain it.

Again, I don't have any planets in the 7th, with the Cusp ruled by Pluto (intense). My Neptune is in Scorpio in the 6th. I'm trying to figure out why that particular excerpt TOTALLY popped out at me, and what could be causing me to relate to it so strongly, when I've never read an interpretation like that in reference to me.

Something to ponder...

Thanks.

May I butt in and ask something?

Natasha,

Does that mean that if I follow my Venus-Neptune conj. in Sag (3rd hs), my Moon-Pluto conj. in Virgo will be sort of on the way? Neptune is also the ruler of the 7th.... *sigh*

Hello Gloria, astrology teaches us to DO our planets first before we understand the lessons. Then we get what we want. First we have to get what we need, the building blocks and then we receive more. It takes more work at the start but it's worth it.Neptune on the 7th wouldn't ask for help with finances, but that's what this NEEDS, not wants, needs. When that is accomplished then the individual can emerge and ask for more of what he or she wants. Boundaries/building blocks have to be set first in a healthy individual.

Have you ever heard the saying DO YOUR PLUTO! If you are feeling disorganized? Look at your pluto and work it out from there, a Pluto in Virgo would like to take care of health matters first then go do the rest of the day. It's a building block. First Yoga, then the rest.

If you are feeling low and blue, look at your Moon and Do your Moon. If you are feeling stupid, look at your Mercury and do your Mercury. I have mercury in Gemini, but I do not always feel smart, I have to DO my Mercury every day to feel valuable. One day I will get what I want for now I have to still try for what I need.

Some days it really comes together, it gets better every day. Also check your transits, obviously the natal chart is only part of the picture. During a Neptune transit everything is confused and hazy. During a Pluto transit you are super organized and impatient.

If pluto in on your 7th you are even more impatient to find love causing upsets. You must handle your money on your own, and deal with real unpleasant things and suddenly your money man will appear. That's just the way the "universe" rewards us for doing our work. We don't have to work too hard but we have to "face" it.

Look at what Pluto rules and Plutonian events and occurences in your life and talk to those people who you find unpleasant normally, see what is beneath the surface. Pluto can be ugly, look at what turns you away more often.

Natasha

Aen, It's easier to see your entire chart, but I can say that Neptune aspects are tough to ignore, they cause a person to become confused and they will not allow you to do your basic work without being taken seriously first. So I would say yes work on your Neptune, as hard as that is, I know. Then other aspects become easier. Neptune causes doubt and as you work on it the doubt will fade and more motivation will appear.

You need more motivation than others (this is true for me too), even with a pluto moon conjunction. That may cause that "sigh". Don't give up easily, work with others, check your Forecast at www.astro.com. Do not doubt your basic self.
