I am a Sag and I have a 7th house ruled by Saturn, which is in Virgo in my 4th. I've always had difficult relationship with my dad, who is Gemini. It's like I have to work in the relationship with him, always. It's the same with my love relationships.
I think this is a hard position for the 7th house and Saturn. Also, my Mars in Sag is in the same house.
Is there anyone with such 7th house position who could shed some light on their experience with it and how do you handle your love matters?

Gosh! I've had the same problems with my dad, I don't have so much saturn though, except for my saturn in the first house opposition my mercury, and my dad is ruled by mercury. Instead I have Venus in the tenth house which they say means good relationships with your parents, not true, BUT my dad is very venus like and very goodlooking I guess that's the venus parent influence.
I think your saturn in the seventh can be good, because it indicates such loyalty to your partner and that is one of the most important aspects in a relationship..in my view

Maybe your Sag Sun doesn't like the way it feels to not have love flow spontaneously. It's a drag. If you have other Earth signs, or other home/family oriented placements, see what strengths you can get from them. Perhaps they will offer you a balance you're not yet aware of. Have you ever considered going into the medical or mental health industry?

Yeah, I have Moon in Taurus - that is earthy
You're right about the medical industry - one of my dreams was to become a doctor but it didn't happen - I'm a journalist

Kittie,

I am kind of confused. If you have Mars in Sag in your 7th house, that means either Scorpio or Sag rules that house (which would indicate that either Pluto or Jupiter is your actual ruler of that house)

Saturn rules Capricorn, which is after Sag. So if Sag is on the cusp, its the ruler. Are you a Gemini rising and to what degree?

Well ok -

You have a Taurus Moon -
This will actually make it easier to take advantage of your steadfastness and tenacity in life, although you're not the type to roll anyone over out of competition.

You have VERY refined tastes, and you are very outgoing and good in public domains. You also have a strong metaphysical side.

You need someone who not only shares your energy and goodwill towards others, but who can keep up with you in a steady stable way. A nice balance between the two.

Perhaps your father is lacking in one side of this?

Your Taurus Moon will help balance you by helping you to be patient, and be patient you must. Do not get so despondent about the low times. I mean, don't go around smiling if you don't feel that way, but be patient because good things are in store for you.

Pidaua, I suppose it's confusing, 'cause I messed up the details. OK, I have a Cancer rising in the very beginning of the sign, I think 2 or 3 degrees. But my Mars is at the very late of Sag, 29 degrees something, so it's actually at the Desc and some astrologers say it could be considered 7th house

To gloria - yes, that's me, you described me very nicely Maybe my father do not possess this qualities or I don't see them this way, I don't know. But I'm kind of moody person so my judgement is not always objective I guess

Hi Kittie,

I see now. Hmm, is Sag intercepted in your chart, meaning the sixth house fits into the Sag sign so that Sag is actually in part of the 5th and 7th house?

Mars in the 7th house indicates that you need a relationship where you can be expressive and even do battle. You do not want a person that just "lies there and takes it". Mars in Sagittarius especially likes to be able to be expressive, passionate and busy. You don't want to be fenced in at all - but your Cancer rising nature may give a different impression.

The Cappy on the 7th is going to show that on one had you seek stability, a hard worker, but with Mars in that house, you also want things to be new and inventive. The Sag sun is going to reinforce this as we tend to not ever want to be fenced in.

Saggie and Gemini's have a natural opposition, as we are opposite sides of the same coin. When you have a father, or authority figure as a Gemini, that may makes understanding each other more difficult.

Saturn in the 4th House: Although you often have heavy responsibilities through your home and family, you feel emotionally isolated from them. You're very attached to your family (you may have a strong mother complex) and may cling to the past. You have great pride in your family ancestry. Your parents are often strict and conservative and may be a burden to you in later years. You seem independent, but fear leaving your parents, even though you'll be happier away from your family. Your profession often centers around real estate, building, contracting, agriculture and domestic products. If afflicted, you can be limited or unhappy in later years, and often become a recluse or a shut-in. You seek to preserve your home, property and inheritance to provide security in your later years. You must overcome selfishness and develop a good spiritual attitude to overcome these limitations. If afflicted, you have digestive problems due to excessive worry and emotionalism.

I think that the last part might be even more reinforced by Saturn being in Virgo.

Also, one thing I would add, is that you may feel more confrontational over the next year or so. Pluto is in Sag (and I am not sure the degree of your sun) but it is approaching a conjunction with your Mars in Sag. I have just had it leave the conjunction with my Venus in Sag, but it is on the way towards conjuncting my Sun (in the 4th house) Should be interesting

Pidaua, yes Sag is intercepted as is Gemini, of course
That Saturn thing you said is true, and I do fear I could make me unhappy in my later years, so I want to do everything possible to secure a happy and social life, meaning -to have a lot of friends and so on
Another things is that I have Sun/Saturn square in my chart which I've read denotes problems with men and father.
About Pluto - it went over my Sun, may be it will go back, I don't know the exact time it goes retrograde, I'm expecting it over my Mars. I am confrontational from some time now and I became less patient with others. May be you will experience it as well
I wonder what would it be when conjuncting my Mars... I don't even want to think about it
