Your Midheaven (also called MC), which is your 10th House. When doing an interpretation, look at the sign it's in. Also look at the planet which rules that sign. Ex: MC Aquarius = Uranus.Now go to your chart and see what Sign and House your Uranus is in. All these things are determinants of what would fit you. Also look at what Sign and House your Saturn is in, which will show what you are able to devote yourself to in the long-term. Then check and see if you have any aspects to that Saturn, like signs in Opposition or Square to it means challenges, and you have to keep that in mind when choosing a career. Then look at your Wheel and see what planets fall in your 10th house. (NOT the same as the 10th House chart). This will all relate to career as the 10th house is ruled by Capricorn, which is ruled by Saturn.  .gloria ------------------

astro junkie, that only holds true in non-equal house systems. In the equal house system, the Midheaven falls within the 10th house, not on the cusp.Lanny IP: Logged |

Ok, I have  on the 10th cusp and no planets in the 10th. I do have Saturn retrograde in the 6th with many squares and an oppostion of Saturn to Venus. Where is a good site to go to that would help me make sense of this gobbly-goo? Thank you, AstroJunkie, at least now I know where to start. Aqua---if I knew the secret, I would share. When I have had chart readings done with pros doing the evaluation, all I hear about is how crucial my career is, how I am going to be great at it, etc......but I just don't know how to look at it and determine what field to pick.My Merc and Sun are conjunct my MC, within scant minutes of it..Leo and Virgo is all smashed up in there too, as far as the houses go.....accccck, its enough to make the eyes cross, isnt it? er- Saturn is in the 8th house...ok, i get it. LOL-MK! At least you have some idea what you might find...ummm, interesting!? Who will you be counseling in the woods?  Just kidding! Good luck in your "wild" adventure--I hear there will be no more late night rendevous in LL for a while...I'm sure you'll figure out a way around all of that pre-teen stuff.

Isis--it sounds like you and I need to join the astrology "class" here in LL. I find myself going in circles (fish moon?), then yanking myself back to where I'm suppose to be (scorpio stellium?), only to find myself going in circles again! AAAAHHH! Damn, but that's frustrating!  IP: Logged |

10th is in leo = sun = aries in the 6th
or did we want uranus?

squares uranus
trines sun, merc, venus, moon, neptune
sextiles jup and pluto
=
10th contains saturn.

O.K., following astrojunkie, my MC is in Sagittarius. My Jupiter is in Scorpio in the 9th house. My Saturn is in Libra, in the 8th house. I only have trines, sextiles and conjunctions with my Saturn. I have my moon and Uranus in my 10th house. What does this all mean? IP: Logged |
