I feel almost guilty of the fact my Saturn is squaring his Sun and Moon
I always want to make him think about me, and at the same time I'm trying to forget him and convince myself I'm better off alone.
Such contradiction in my soul... it's confusing me. And still I don't have the will to forget him and put him in the past. These Saturn aspects are beyond description - they stick you together and make you work, feel guilty, angry, lonely, sad and what not.
Any experience with such Saturn aspects?

Kitty -

You mean like a love / hate thing? Like you are not there by choice, but out of obligation to a higher power? Like you want OFF the merry-go-round?!

it can, and does suck, much of the time.

Gloria, yes, something like this - like it's fated but it's so difficult - love and hate, simultaneously. I'm constantly going back and forth, now I decided to leave him. I don't know whether I will have the will to do it really.

I'm hearing you on the Saturn = Guilt thing, kittie. My saturn squares my love's Venus with a 3.36 orb, and his Mars with a 0.27 orb . It's still fairly early into the relationship, 1 year or so, and we only see each other on the weekends, so I don't think Saturn has fully emerged yet. It's too busy still collecting data! LOL... Anyway, I suspect it's beginning to show itself in that I quite often catch myself lecturing him on the best way to complete a task, or asking why he did or did NOT do a certain thing. I think I make him feel like he has to explain himself alot to me, or justify his actions. I don't mean to, I just do it, then I sit there wishing I could just shut the he11 up. Plus, he has alot of narrowminded and what I call "Redneck" opinions, which I oppose him on constantly because I hate it when people are intolerant and pious toward others. In my mind, I'm guiding him toward enlightnement, but to him I'm probably a bleeding heart who seems to have no boundries and no sense of descrimination. His Saturn opposes my Venus with a 1.51 orb. So, we have a double Saturn/Venus negative connection in our synastry. I have Venus trine Saturn in my natal chart, so my Venus is no stranger to Saturn's energy, which I think will make it more bareable, at least for me...BUT, him, on the other hand, well I guess he's got it coming to him with me! Ah, it won't be that bad. I'm aware of it all, so I can consciously work to minimize the ill effects of it all. When it comes to Saturn, knowledge is power!!

found this little blurb on the net, thought it was worth sharing...

quote:
Saturn, on the other hand, is the karmic planet. It’s the one that says “you did me in in an earlier life, you dirty so and so”. Or... “We were once passionate lovers... Remember?” It has been said, that when comparing two people’s charts (for any kind of relationship), check the relevant placements of Saturn. There will almost always be a connection, in that if there is no Saturnian connection, the odds are extremely good that the two people will never have stopped long enough to even chat. Saturn appears to be a critical factor in first bringing two people’s attention to focus on one another. It’s even been said, that without a Saturn connection, two people cannot stay together. It’s as if we relish the... you know: challenges of a relationship... more than the comfort. This therefore implies that the main reason for relationships is to meet the challenges and undergo the transformations that come with that particular package.
