Love that work from the Himalayas... Some artwork like that from other cultures or other eras really grabs me to the point where I just KNOW I was there in a previous life. That ever happen to you?

Yes Gloria, I dream about ancient Greece and ancient stone houses all the time. I have travelled quite a bit but I haven't been to India yet and I am crazy to go.
Do you want to go with me? If you ever are in the mood to take a trip there, let me know, I really want to go when I get $$.

I am sure my destiny at one time was in India, and I do have emotional experiences around Indian people. Time is such a funny thing, it's just layers of memories, who knows what's real? Ancient people didn't believe in time, everything was today, in the now, even things that happened 30 years ago were considered current.

What about you? What cultures grab you.
Natasha

... interesting....

Well, I actually think I've inherited India in me already, maybe a dozen or so generations back... so I do feel something with that...

I also have some Jewish connection from way way back too... I mean in my blood right now...

As for past lives, some of the Egyptian images or artwork strikes me VERY strongly, as if I've been there. Not so much in terms of the obvious "pyramid" stuff. I mean other images, especially the topography.

And DEFINATELY from the lost world of Atlantis. Oh my God... big time!

I also came from Pompei, and it's been manifesting itself again in THIS lifetime very strongly... the fine line between sex and art and spirituality...

When I incarnated in the beginning, (post Neanderthal) I kept dying really young from illnesses. Each time I came back, I'd live a little longer.

When I was able to live long enough to experience "puberty" or "womanhood", I'd get executed several times, including my last life, which was in the country. I've been stoned and hung, and burned at the stake.

This lifetime I was left for dead, so it's God's way of setting things right. What seems like such an arguous and long lifetime to us is just a blurp in the big picture.

I've gotten in touch a whole lot with past life meaning, and I don't mean strictly from something I've read, cuz I HAVE TO figure things out for myself. Our cells have memory, and when you see something you whole body resonates with, then THAT is a connection to a previous life, or better to say, an earlier incarnation of a special facet of God...

...it's all one life in a singular sense, but then there's a collective life as well... the more we separate ourselves from the collective, the more lost and confused we are...

Hi astro junkie,

You mentioned your Jewish connection from way back, and that reminds me of something I have been meaning to tell you about.

When you started the spirit guide topic a while back, you mentioned the owl as an appropriate animal with my pisces sun, scorpio moon and cancer rising.

The next week, I was in a meditation workshop and we were working with guided meditation and spirit guides (I have never worked with meditation or spirit guides before). I saw the owl in my short meditation, and oddly enough the name "Shalom" came as a vision at the same time. I had no idea that this was a Jewish word as I have no knowledge of Jewish culture, I thought it was the name of my spirit guide since we were told to ask the name of our spirit guide while meditating. I have no recollection of ever hearing this word before, although now that I am aware of its meaning ironically enough I have heard this word several times (isn't that an example of Jung's syncronicity?)

I just wanted to ask you, or anyone else who is compelled to respond, what your thoughts are on this experience. I found it odd that a Jewish word manifested, since Indian culture has always been my main attraction.

Hey Hooked -

Like, I don't know why you always connected to Indian culture, and I'm not sure if you mean Middle Eastern or American or another country, indian.

Let me know...

Sorry I meant Southeast Asian. Here let me clarify what I am asking - I was wondering since you brought up the spirit guide topic, you might be able to take a guess at the significance of seeing this owl along with the name shalom. Not sure how knowledgeable you are on the topic of guides, but thought I'd ask. And if you don't have a clue, its just as well

Thanks,

hooked

Oh ok... that was an important question because of how it would connect to the "Shalom"...

Well, did you look up the word and learn what it means? The origin of the word? Words can be very universal, different cultures having similar sounds for similar things to describe. That would tap you into a very potent energy too.

And see how any of this would connect to your spirit guide. The similarities will probably be quite evident due to the subconsious.

And I guess, if you want to have fun with lexacons...

shalom:

halos
ash
slam
sham
has
also
hams
mash
mosh
