Ugh...

I'm SOOO lazy right now. I can't be bothered to take care of or do all the things I decided to do the last few weeks. Everything is a bother, or a hassle or somehow just not seeming worth the effort.

Stupid Saturn in Cancer is squaring my Mars in Aries (5° orb) and my Pluto in Libra (0°13). Not to mention that Saturn's chuggin along (at 6° Cancer at the moment)setting me up for my Saturn Return (natal Saturn at 17°).

My Mars and Pluto are in opposition (mars 5th/ pluto 11th Houses) anyways. Is the saturn/mars/pluto square causing my inertia or am I just a lazy butt? How long is this gonna last? Is this just the prelude to my saturn return? I'm worried about it already!

I really need to go to bed, but dammit, that means brushing my teeth and washing up and I just somehow do NOT have the energy or desire to do that. Maybe I'll just sleep on the couch and pretend I fell asleep there lol

Nackie just fell asleep on the couch, only she's pretending. When we know not what action to take, the correct action is no action...

It's like one of those times with the Moon is Void, and you remain neutral, be witness. You have hard aspects. I do too, especially my Cancer Moon Opp my Jupiter & Saturn in Capricorn. KILLLLLLS me...

I'm coming up to my SECOND Saturn Return... what do you want to know?

Nack actually made it to bed last night lol Did the teeth, but didn't wash my face (no makeup), so today my skin feels grody lol

I love that "action" quote, and I'm all for it, just in this case I KNOW what action needs to be taken (oh god, I KNOW....it's so much needed to be done), I just can't seem to get off my bum and do it. Due to my taurus moon, I often have the "getting started" problem, but once I'm into something I'm like a rolling snowball. Right now, I keep pushing myself to make babysteps, and all the while it's like walking thru molasses. The benefit of getting it done is SO not outweighing the benefit of not doing it LOL

Gloria, re: Saturn return: How can you ensure that you have a good return. I have a lot of plans for the next two years, and they entail a lot of detail work (so I think that's a good thing to have Saturn back at home). My problem is, my natal Saturn squares Jupi and Mars. So this is gonna be a LONG year, right? What can I do (last minute now lol) before Saturn comes home to make sure that things go smoothly (well, you know, as smoothly as possible, I realize that you can't direct your whole life with astrology lol)

Cause I'm SCARED of Saturn lol Prolly cause hubby is a cappy--I'm not gonna end up like him, am I?

Feel free to take what I say with a grain (or rock) of salt. Still doesn't quite stop me worrying tho lol

Nackie -

I'm not sleepy, and it's like 4:15am. Haven't washed my face or brushed my teeth yet either. I might need a very hot bath with lavender to put me out...

For me the Saturn Return effects... well... let's see...

I can describe it but it will bore you, so I'm trying to imagine it more from a Saturn Square Mars & Jupiter. I have a Mars Square Jupiter, that's the only thing we have the same there...

Maybe you feel paralyzed right now because you have so much energy building up in you, so many EXPECTATIONS and you somehow have the feeling that you will need to make a huge compromise.

Maybe your lesson in this life is to be more genuine, down to earth, more secure in who you are in an ordinary way. You're learning how to listen more. Your Saturn Return will be preparing yourself to accept a gift from life. A gift you need to be receptive to.

Maybe in your previous life you had a lot of power over other people, and your coming down a notch. At first it may bum you out, but then it may be the gift that is coming is something you need to have even more than the recognition you once had.

Can you relate to any of this?

When I am paralyzed, it reminds me that I am spiritual. That I am the type of person who needs a lot of time to herself to just listen to the Source or the inner voice.

For me it's a matter of pushing away an IMAGINARY obligation place upon me by my family... a family I've divorced myself from in the last months.

But remember one of the rules and laws of the universe... the more you try to resist something, the more you are going to want it...

with love & support.

Hi Gloria,

man you're worse than me! Get thee off to bed! I'm a night owl, too, and if no one checked me, I would be up till 5 am and sleep till 11 everyday lol...ahh, the goodness of having a cappy hubby who regulates my life (something I DO appreciate, and miss when he's away)

A lot you said made sense to me. I have a 1st house North Node in Sag, though, so I think my problem is to learn to stand up for myself. For example, I get really mad about my boss who allows me NO personal life. I work about 50 hours a week, I'm often, in addition!!, gone over the weekend, and this is my first 2 week vacation in almost 2 years! But she calles me every day, at least twice, please do this, please do that, can you come into the office for a half hour (which turns into a half day unpaid!). She calls during days off, she calls Saturdays and Sunday nights (hubby LOVES that one). I always get mad and think NEXT time I'm really gonna tell her off! But then she calls and I grit my teeth and do what she asks. Grrrr that makes me SO angry about myself.

Or in my private life. As much as I swear I'm the leader of the family (hehe mars in aries), when my hubby makes a descision I always go along with it, whether I like it or not. I always think, I'm a lot more flexible than him, I can deal with /moving to a new country/moving to a new city/him working 60 hours a week/ etc etc. And this is, what I believe anyways, the crux of my saturn return:

be TRUE to your own feelings, cause I'm gonna show you how hard it can get if you don't!

You wrote, maybe I have to learn to be more down to earth. I really do try, but I have only one earth sign (my unaspected moon in Taurus), and only my AC and Saturn in water. I'm mostly fire and air (sounds like me lol). So I do try grounding myself, but it's a hard battle.

Aside from that, I AM interested in the other things that saturn does in a return. Please tell me the, in your words, boring things.

Gloria, you always take the time to set people on the right track. I just read the "school" thread, too. Maybe you are one of life's teacher, and maybe you are or are not aware of it!

Love and hugs to you,
Nackie

DO TELL!!! I wanna hear it too

I still have like...hmm...3 years to go, but I'm a born-tired, so I have a feeling I'll be doing it all the night before

my Saturn is RX too, in Leo, 7th, conj mt Desc (and opp my Asc). the only hard aspects it makes are a laaarge square to my Moon and a 135 to my Sun. OF COURSE, I have no idea what that means...

so keep talking, girl! maybe you'll turn some of my lights on

well... i'm typing this with my eyes closed... (and having flashbacks of my MEAN typing teacher - I type 65wpm - or they measure it different these days)...

I'm rambling...

well, this could be interesting so i'll continue - but i have to go to school in a few hours so i need sleep... i need to wash my face and brush my teeth...

Saturn Return:::
I got my first tattoo and pretended i was dead

that's how i got through it

i mean, this is personal to each person, you know? for me it was about feeling a new level of empowerment. we always think we need to work hard all out lives in order to retire and THEN begin to really enjoy life, like traveling, doing things we always wanted to do, type mentality...

so i just made sure i didn't step on that shitt...

Nackie - what's that on the bottom of your shoe toots?

Have fun at school--I think I won't be the only brain-dead one today lol

... oh... I apologize...

I was making reference to your saying ::

"...For example, I get really mad about my boss who allows me NO personal life. I work about 50 hours a week, I'm often, in addition!!, gone over the weekend, and this is my first 2 week vacation in almost 2 years! But she calles me every day, at least twice, please do this, please do that, can you come into the office for a half hour (which turns into a half day unpaid!). But then she calls and I grit my teeth and do what she asks. Grrrr that makes me SO angry about myself..."

And then I said ::

"...we always think we need to work hard all out lives in order to retire and THEN begin to really enjoy life, like traveling, doing things we always wanted to do, type mentality...

so i just made sure i didn't step on that shitt... "

So it was an analogy, like saying, because you've been held hostage by your job, maybe you were not successful at avoiding stepping in doo-doo...

sings softly
Go to sleep, little Nackie, go to sleep little Canadian transplant... you've got too much to do tomorrow.. listen to that Cappy man o' yours! sometimes all you have to do, is cuddle up against a warm bum, and spoon around a big strong man, then you drift off to dreamland
Of course it's nice, to sleep to the light, of the TV on all night, mumbling movies, white noise, nothing pressing behind your eyes In the wee morning hours is the only time that is truly mine, so I will eternally understand your reluctance for dreamland

There, it's a lullabye for you......
