If you find anything else, please post and share. As for this specifically, I've found this so far:"Pluto Retrograde. The search for inner truth can be relentless during Pluto retrograde, but the deeper you can lean into it, the more compassion you'll be able to find for yourself and the further into self-knowledge and liberation this cycle will take you. Retrograding Pluto demands we purge whatever it touches (check your natal chart and all transits and progressions to see where Pluto effects you personally). The loss or empty space created can be disorienting, and this is how Pluto tests our ability to stay true to our path."

Hmmm -- Pluto is bouncing all around my second house cusp (sheesh, it's been on my Scorpio Asc ever since i can remember almost). The thing is tho -- tomorrow i am miraculously allowed to get a NEW car!!!!I have in the past 2 years experienced the loss of almost all things material -- Pluto has only remade me about 100 times -- Obviously, there's more to come, but i have no natal planets in the second. I do know that Pluto CAN relate to wealth OR the lack of it. IP: Logged |

Oh, my... Thank you for making me aware of this.. now i know no one can ever, possibly invalidate my belief in astrology. Pluto is in my fifth house...... conjunct my Venus and Neptune. I have a feeling this means more in the context of the rest of my life..... can anyone else confirm this? How long will it be there..... or at least retrograde? Thanks for any insight. I hope all are having a happy, transformative coming springtime.IP: Logged |

The second house, in my opinion, has to do with your core values, and those things in your life that you need to survive. Often our material attachments reflect our values. Pluto says in effect, "get your values straight, release your attachments to things". If you're not willing to do so consciously, Pluto's energy will make you do so rather you want to or not.Pluto is anything but subtle. Lanny IP: Logged |

When I ran the transit chart, it appeared that Jupiter was also retrograde... I wonder what this means.. it is conjunct my friend's Ascendant and Venus right now.IP: Logged |

Hee hee Thanks for pointing out this retrograde, astro junkie. It all makes sense now, lol. I'll see if I can dig up some stuff.Okay, back and here goes: "Pluto is deep power. It relates to birth, death, taxes, crises, and all peak experiences. It is an energy of evolution, ruthless in its drive to acquire power, and willing to destroy whatever stands in its way. When direct, Pluto expresses its power freely. Birth and death are part of the public arena. When it travels retrograde, Pluto’s power plays are much more apt to be undercover. Pluto does like secrecy. We will all be nurturing our power within us, waiting until Pluto turns direct next August 30, again in Virgo time. Retrograde is review time, and we have the next five months to ask ourselves, and the community, questions about power. What is power? What are the deepest roots of our personal, and national, power? How do we use power? In what areas do we apply power? When do we delegate power? In what circumstances? And to whom? There are many more questions. Make a list for yourselves of questions which you can ponder during this retrograde time. Handling and expressing power is a big responsibility, and very frequently we find it easier to pass off that responsibility to some "authority" who has "power." We disempower ourselves by doing this. In fact, we each have power. We are all born and die. We all have Pluto somewhere in our charts. We can use this retrograde time to explore our own power, and begin to learn to express it. If, during these retrograde months, you have contemplated power, and developed your ideas about it, you will be able to express your power more wisely when Pluto turns direct next summer." *Note, I omitted the examples given here because they were political in nature and I didn't want to go there on this thread. Also, the site briefly discusses Saturn going direct this March as well. http://www.daykeeperjournal.com/retrogrades.shtml Here's another link, though the info. is long so I won't try to paraphrase this one. It also gives some insight into Pluto's transit through particular houses: http://www.accessnewage.com/articles/astro/PLUTORET.HTM
"PLUTO RETROGRADE 2003 March 23 - August 28, 2001
by Lynn Koiner, P.M.A.F.A. In the natal chart, Pluto tends to operate even more Plutonian when it is retrograde. It is far more intense, it possesses a higher degree of concentration and it, therefore, gives greater insights into the subconscious. Because of this intensity, the individual can see much more than normally possible and it is easy to become suspicious of the motives of others. The powers of regeneration are far greater when retrograde. People with a natal retrograde Pluto have a tremendous ability to overcome major illnesses that might otherwise cause permanent disability. Remember, retrograde motion is always directed toward inner activity such as the psyche or psychological patterns that affect the physical body. Direct motion, on the other hand, is directed towards external circumstances. Under any Pluto transit, we feel pressured to eliminate and release the old, outworn, outdated and obsolete in our lives. When Pluto is transiting retrograde, we are urged to let go of attitudes, thinking or communication patterns, security drives, rigid emotions; a time to undergo an internal form of house cleaning. It is a good time to research into our own Souls in order to determine exactly what we do or do not need. Because Pluto retrograde imparts an intense power for investigation, we should use this time to assess what reoccurring patterns in our lives make us feel out of control, where and why do we continually give our power away, and under what circumstances do we react so defensively that we elicit attacks from others. Pluto retrograde marks a time wherein we should seek to gain greater control over our personal life; Pluto direct is better for gaining control over professional and financial areas. Intense hits occur on Mars 18 (Mars), May 6 (Jupiter) and August 5 (Saturn). My most frequent observation of Pluto retrograde is that many people do seek some form of regenerative activity. I have seen people undertake a series of internal cleansings, detoxifying diets, Eastern disciplines that put them in touch with the inner self and even intense psychological reforms." My Pluto is in Leo 8th house retrograde. Any suggestions how best to work thru it? It looks like a long tough haul. juniperb ------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot IP: Logged |

My Pluto's in my 1st house - retrograde - so I guess this period will mark a time of sould-searching within myself (add that to the double Aries New Moon and - Wow!!!)? I just KNEW SOMETHING HAD TO BE retrograde. Currently there seem to be obstacles all over the place, especially on the career front - things just won't get MOVING!!!IP: Logged |

Thank you again, .gloria, for your always timely astro info............Hmmmmm Pluto retro for me, sitting right on the cusp of my 1st and 2nd house. And, so there it will sit, and doesn't go direct until the DAY before my golden birthday. Maybe this year I will finally have a good b-day........or at least interesting. Maybe this explains why I have been obsessed with health the past two weeks. Well, being completely cut off from internet, TV, and phones gives me nothing to do but exercise compulsively. Being that Pluto is in Sag, thats probably why I felt compelled to move out here to WY, and thus the retro could be why I am still wondering if it was a good idea.......... MK IP: Logged |
