This aspect can indicate one of two possibilities; it can indicate opportunities for careful sustained growth through patient endeavor, or it can indicate a period of extreme restlessness and impatience. The two planet's energies are in conflict, Saturn bringing discipline and stability, and Jupiter symbolizing unrestrained growth and overextension.
When Saturn conjuncts Jupiter, it creates a tension between the two extremes. Its similar to revving your engine and having your foot on the brakes at the same time. You feel the power, but nothing is happening.
Which effect above you can expect depends to large extent on how disciplined you are normally. If that is the normal mode for you, you will most likely react with patience and perseverance. If on the other hand, self-discipline is not your normal mode of operation, you will probably feel tension and a desire to rebel against the restrictions you feel in life. Either response may be appropriate depending upon your level of understanding.
