Hi G.G. Look at your 7th house, if there are planets there, that pretty well describes your partner( the type that compliments you best) What (naturally) works best with you example: mars in the 7th (mars rules Aries ) this could be someone who has a strong mars angular (houses 1,4,7,and 10) or conjunct the asc. or sun (doesn't have to be in aries). But could also be an Aries Sun. Your aspects to the 7th house planet(s) tells how your marriage (partnership) will be. If there are no planets in the 7th house look to the sign on the descendant. example: Aries (on the 7th) look to your own mars (rules aries). Aspects and placement will tell more. One more interesting thing about the descendant, look to the ruler of that house and you will find a karmic point for finding your soul mate. Use the example above, the degree of mars (rules Aries on the 7th) say 15 degrees gemini, well 15 degrees gemini will show up in your partners natal chart. Could be the degree of thier moon, sun and especially the nadir. All planets are important including the nodes (and house degrees). Hope I explained that right lolIP: Logged |

I've had questions pertaining to the topic for a few years now. My 7th house is all confusing. I have a singleton Jupiter in my 7th (Pisces). I am told this means I will marry a lot, is that true? I've probably asked before, heh heh, sorry.IP: Logged |

No, Dorkus (hee hee)...I think it means your going to marry a pisces with sun conj. Jupiter, Saggie moon, Saggie rising, or Saggie Venus. (a strong personal planet conjucting your Jupiter) It could also mean you will be quite fortunate in your partnerships, perhaps even marrying into wealth. Whatever the case may be, Jupiter in the 7th is a most auspicious placement...unless it's badly afflicted, then it could mean you'll marry 11 times. (like Liz Taylor)....My onion. IP: Logged |

So, this is interesting..... My 7th house is empty, but it is in Aries..... which is somewhat significant, in that I married an Aries, and have had a relationship with another one which resulted in the birth of my first child, and a long, tumultous relationship. ( The tulultuous is ongoing...no matter where we are in our own lives) My Mars is in Scorpio, in my fourth house, conjunct my Sun, Uranus and Node. Does anyone have an opinion? I tend to like extravagance and passion rather than normalcy and comfort.. I like harmony, but a constant tension to me keeps me interested...IP: Logged |

I have always heard that Jupiter in the 7th house is a good thing...that your partner will be wealthy and wise. So i have been optimisitic - having a 7th house Jupiter. But recently i realized that i also have Leo Saturn along with my Leo Jupiter in the 7th (they are 14 deg apart from each other). How would having Saturn there alter the effects of Jupiter as far as my partner and marriage is concerned? Would that mean that i might marry late or marry someone really old?? I'm worried Would really appreciate your input. And oh as for aspects: Jupiter opposes my Asc squares my Venus (in 4th) and MC Saturn aspects: sextiles Sun and Uranus squares Venus and Neptune Thank you! Pixie, how can you be Leo rising and have Aries on your 7th house cusp? It would have to be Aquarius, or Pisces, or Capricorn. Have you recently discovered your REAL birth time, and rectified your natal chart? Cancerian718, I would intrepret saturn and jupiter in the 7th as meaning you could marry someone 12 years your senior (or more) but he'll also quite likely be very well off...(as in wealthy). He could also just be strongly Capricorn-like, but same age as you. IP: Logged |

PixelPixie,Your 7th house ruler Mars conjucting your Uranus and Node explains by your prefer passion and extravagance in your relationships. But your Mars conjuncting Uranus and Node also makes those relationships unstable, tumultous yet very fated and long lasting through which you are forced to learn important life lessons. And being in the 4th house these tendencies of your relationships are focused on the family aspect (indicating your relationship with the father of your 1st child). Just my two cents! IP: Logged |

Lioneye68, Thanks for your response. Do you think it is also possible that he could be only a 3-4 yrs older than me but be strongly Leo-like with strong Jupiter yet be quite serious and mature in personality? The reason i ask this is, because i have noticed that i tend to be attracted to guys who fit the above description. Currently i am dating a guy who is 3 yrs older, has 3 planets in Leo and Jupiter in the 1st house of Gemini. IP: Logged |

Hello Gemini Girl, This is a good match and could easily be the one.(and your both so young) your decendant is 28 degrees taures with venus at 28 degrees also. this is a double dignity Venus in Taures (home) Venus in 7th and specifically the descendant (home) Venus rules both Taures and Libra. For his Moon I got 24 degrees 25 minutes Taures (exalted) being born some 8 hours later will put it on your venus. ( as good as it gets) Also there is a nice little sun (yours) conjunct mars (his) in gemini.(in your 7th house)and he's an aries!. He has some oppositions to your sun (saturn and uranus) but you're already living with them, and it has already become part of you. They're in your natal chart. IP: Logged |

GG,I have seen marriage charts where the Sun is not in the 4th house and those couples have been married for years. I think if the 4th house gets aspects from the sun, moon, or venus or if the ruler of the 4th is well-aspected then it could still indicate marriage. But i have noticed that couples with Sun in their 4th or 5th houses tend to come together with the purpose of marriage or i mean they tend to form a romantic relationship with each other from the very beginning. So yeah i guess having the Sun in the 4th or 5th house of composite makes it easier for the couple to become to live together and form a family. IP: Logged |

Oh my gosh.. how'd I let that slip by me for so long? That was a massive brain fart, thanks for pointing it out, Lioneye.. yeah, I have Aquarius in my seventh house... I wonder where by brain was at that I allowed that to go unnoticed for so long....I wonder.. maybe I was looking at a different chart when I wrote that... hmmmmm... Maybe I was looking at my husband's and my composite chart, where Aries falls as the descendant...... strange stuff, that. Wierd wierd wierd, and I don't even have an excuse... ( Such a perfectionist, you know I am gonna mentally beat myself up for that slip!) Cancerian 718~ Thanks so much for your interpretation!!!! and FYI~~~~ I have a natal fourth house Sun, My husband has a natal fourth house Sun, and our composite is fourth house Sun.... But marriage feels unnatural to me... relationships and loving, I adore, but marriage feels forced... IP: Logged |

So here's a trend ( and I checked and re-checked this time to make sure) My seventh house is Aquarius.... AND, of the people in my life whom I have considered best friends, and soul connections, an unspoken understanding and different dimension to our relationship... they have Aquarius moons. Not Sun, or Rising, but Moons... Is this significant, do you think, given that the seventh is 'partners', etc.... and the Moon is Emotions.....IP: Logged |

OK, I don't have any planets in my 7th house and my descendant is also in my 7th house(well, i suppose it's supposed to be, duh). It's ruled by Leo. I guess I have no choice, eh? :P IP: Logged |
