Hey everyone, I've been reading these boards for a while and this is my first post. Ok, I'm a January 22 and I'm beginning to think that my birthdate is cursed. What I mean is, I've noticed a particular pattern with people born on this day and month. It seems as though we live to hurt. I'm supposed to be an Aquarian, yet I'm completely ruled by my emotions. I seem to be getting worse as I get older. I have this abundance of empathy and it's causing me too much pain. If I didn't have so much inner strength, I don't know where I would be right now. I also feel like I don't belong here and I'll never find my place in this world. Does anyone else have this birthdate? How do you deal? I'm sorry if I'm not being clear...I can't seem to explain myself very well. I know I'm very much like Lord Byron(poet), who has the same birthdate, and he was miserable all his life. And Linda Blair(actor) too (we also share the same first name), she's led a messed up life. I haven't actually met a Jan. 22 though...I'm basing this on the things I've read. If anyone has info to share, it would help me out a lot. Thanks IP: Logged |

Lost Soul -Hi... January 17th is another interesting day. Jim Carrey & Andy Kaufman were both born that day, and they are much more aware of their Capricorn/Aquarius "cusp", I think moreso than any other "cusp" influence. Although Carrey's Moon is in Gemini, & Andy's was in Virgo, they do share many other planets. Having feelings is not a bad thing. So what's bothering you? .gloria IP: Logged |

Hi Lost Soul-Along with Astrology I have been studying Robert Camp's Love Cards and Destiny cards for almost a decade now. I copied this description of your birth card for you. This is the short version which can be found online- you should check out Love Cards or Destiny Cards if you want more info. This system really helped me find out who I am. I have learned so much about myself through my studies of cards and astrology. Good luck! Five of Diamonds: The Salesperson Card
This card has its share of challenges and its share of gifts. Like all fives, they dislike routine and abhor anything that pretends to limit their freedom. They can be perpetual wanderers, never settling down for anything long enough to make it pay off. This includes their work and relationships. All 5 have an inner restlessness, but they truly want to accomplish something of value and stability in their lives. They are inherently spiritual and know what is of true value. The challenge comes in practicing what they know. They come into this life with a certain amount of karma which often takes considerable hard work to discharge. If they are lazy, there will be many problems. They must practice what they know and do what it takes to get the job done without shirking responsibility. They make great sales people and they have tried many things in life and know how to relate to anyone on their own level. Their inner truth is their guiding light. IP: Logged |

Isn't 22 a spiritual number? Much like 11? Am I remembering correctly?. Also, do the rest of your chart, if you haven't already.. and with any accuracy, you can further 'get into your head' so to speak.. By understanding our make-up and influences, in all their variables, we are better able to ovrcome the compulsions and negativity, we can understand, and seek the light within any placement. Years ago, I met a woman who, when learning I was a Scorpio, said..~ omigod, me too.. are you like this and this and this... and proceeded to name a cacophany of negative behaviours... and I was like.. no. I mean, I CAN be all of those things, but I see astrology as a tool to realize the things I am capable of and beyond, and then understand I don't HAVE to be like they say. I can overcome. If i don't like something, I can change it. Yin and Yang. So can you. Go to www.astro.com and follow the steps.. you'll get a chart, and determine your placements, it might help shed light on your emotional nature....P.S.~ Canada, eh? IP: Logged |

Thanks for answering. I read somewhere that 22 is the number of self-mastery/all things are possible. And there is nothing wrong with having feelings, unless those feelings are ruling you and dragging you down, for no apparent reason. I have a difficult time trying to get people to understand what its like being overly sensitive. And I know these things are linked to my birthday. I suppose it is karma. I don't know what happened in past lives, but apparently, the pain followed me into this life. IP: Logged |

Lostsoul, I have a book that says you are ruled by the #4, and by the planet Uranus, which is both erratic and explosive. These traits are doubly underlined for Jan.22 people by Uranus rulership of their sign Aquarius. Furthermore, being born on the Cap-Aqua cusp(with it's associated themes of mystery and imagination) only increases the propensity for excitement. People ruled by the #4 have their own way of doing and seeing things; they often rebel against regulations and rules, wanting to change the social order. It also says about your date of birth, that emotional control is clearly a central issue for Jan 22 people. They must come to realize that they can be more effective reaching others when their passion is tempered and allows people more room to breathe. Others will view your emotions as a disturbance and not as emotional richness. You need to develop patience and insight to match your depth of feeling. It can initally be painful, but the capacity to see yourself as you truly are is essential if you are to succeed in meaningful relationships or lucrative business prospects. Your qualities in listening, sharing and appreciating strengths of others is invaluable. Empathy is combined with hardiness make up a Jan 22 person's nature. It also says that you do not handle depression well, so you should get to know yourself at a deep level and realistically ***** your abilities. If you go about this and one major emotional outburst can set you back enormously, so you must guard against that from happening. The solution is not repression but finding a safety valve that lets steam off when your temperature begins to rise. Your strengths: natural, emotional, exciting Your weaknesses: Hasty, explosive, careless Hope this helps you to understand better! AutumnIP: Logged |

Autumn Wind, thanks so much for that information. That's such an accurate description of my character. Natasha, thanks for responding. You all seem like a sweet bunch, but I'm sort of paranoid about posting too much info about myself on a public board. Would it be possible to email my info to you? I just found out that my ascendant is in pisces...that would probably explain my behavior. I feel more like a water sign than an air sign. Linda IP: Logged |

Hello LostSoul and nightzoomer,More 22's......yeah. I am a birth 22 (that's when you add up the numbers in your birth date), and my son is a day 22 (born 22 June). So I know a little bit about 22's. It is quite common for a 22 to feel "lost" at different periods throughout their lifetime, because they carry a global master builder's responsibility. By that I mean that we are born to lead and sometimes this can be a very demanding, and isolating role. According to Titania in her Numerology book called Zillions: "Those born on the 22nd have a mind that acquires facts and information as a matter of habit. You are both inspired and practical, imaginative and conservative....you are nervous and highly strung, burning up a lot of frenetic energy; and you will need rest and seclusion from time to time. You must work on bringing your many talents into one cohesive whole; but with the continual operation of the two numbers you may sometimes lack focus." Did you know there is a Master Numbers MSN group? It's a place where you can go and read about other master number's experiences and share your own. There is usually a common thread (like a major life trauma, and/or abandonment). Here is the website: http://groups.msn.com/Masternumbergathering/whythisgroup.msnw purple_scorp IP: Logged | |
