Hey Kittie -

Juno is one of a 5 asteroids (or planetoids) which are usually considered significant. It has to do with Soulmates, what kind of soulmate you are, and what you seek in a soulmate.

Not only is the sign it's in important, but the House, and to an extent, aspects.

The other four are:

Chiron = "the wound that never heals"
Ceres = "style of caring"
Pallas = "battle style"
Vesta = "sex & energy investment"

As usual, each of these is attached to a mythical character(s) and story.

That's not to say there aren't other asteriods, planetoids, or even Fixed Stars to look at, but these are the most common.

Not to bug, but I am curious..
when you say Soulmate, "What kind of soulmate you are, or what you look for in a soulmate" I am curious if you have any links or any further information to study.
I looked into it, and it seems my Juno is in Libra. Which could be significant, and a bit of a puzzle piece for me, in terms of the things I am learning. Enlightenment is so desireable!!!! Even if it changes daily..... it is still true for the moment.
Thanks!!!
( By the way, we have the Juno awards here this weekend!!!! How Ironic)

I have found Juno in Scorpio really commit well, especially with Juno in Capricorn or other water/earth signs. Juno in fire likes air/fire.

That's my take. You can rely on a Juno in Scorpio to be there for you emotionally but not materially. Juno in Capricorn-the opposite.
Juno in the 2nd house shows an attraction to Venusian types for example.

I always look at Juno for stability. Juno in Pisces is sweet but light hearted.

I have Juno in Pisces (Retrograde) in the 11th. Wonder if this contributes to my not being married yet.

Gloria, the Gemini I know has Juno in Sag in the 11th and he does not like to be tied down at all, never been married either. You two might get along for a while. Juno in Pisces says healer, maybe you prefer relationships that are resolve issues and then they feel dead?

Sometimes too much emotion drains us and then it's time for something new for a while.
Plus you may attract clingers with Juno in Pisces, wounded types, but your 11th house wants to experience lots of different people.

I like that house for Juno just because it teaches me so much, and I'm not a clinger. But you need an emotional connection too-maybe through your work you get one kind of connection the emotional and then you are not drained. Juno in Pisces makes great psychologists. Once you are done listening to people's problems you are free of conflicting emotions ever noticed that?

Just Juno by house http://groups.msn.com/interpretations4/junohouses.msnw

My crazy ex had Juno in Scorpio but I don't know the house, still we had too many 8th house placements in our composite-it was crazy.

Yeah, that's me.

My Juno in Pisces is very much wanting to heal - and then combine that with my Venus & Pluto in Virgo!!!!!!!!!

Not to mention, all my planets in Scorpio are in the 6th House (Merc, Mars Neptune)...

It's true I attract clingers, but I shake them off most of the time. But when I meet someone, for me it's always like, how can I help this person? And having that Cancer Moon too!!!!! you're like an emotional sponge.

And as for Libra guy's Juno in Sag, he's never been married either. He does like that freedom, but although I have a magnetic passionate side, I'm able to more than provide him with his taste of freedom. Especially since we are BOTH Libra's.

...also

If I were to look at my need to heal semi-objectively in reference to his chart, what parts of him would appreciate me?

I'm thinking his Singleton Cappy Moon in the 1st, his Mars & Jup in Cancer. But maybe not enough to make him feel comfortable. I don't know. I don't know anything right now.

Okay never mind what I said about the Gemini , he has Juno in Scorpio in the 9th house. But he's never been married, only lived with a Cancer/Capricorn moon for 5 years. However, he does play, not sexually but he's out there emotionally.

He is always searching, very 9th house for other contacts. Having Juno in the 2nd I can't imagine because it seems everyone wants to get married to me or marry me off.

Here is the Magi Society's take on Juno: http://magiastrology.com/juno.htm . I don't know if I agree with them, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

My Juno is in Taurus, in my seventh house.

Chiron is marriage? Does that mean marriage will be to an Aries? It's true I married an Aries.

teaselbaby how does that placement work for you?do you attract independent types or clingers?

Wow this makes a lot of sense, it would explain why I attract a lot of Junos in Scorpios, my Neptune is in Scorpio and that is the long term no marriage thing. then again Venus in Earth signs never lead to marriage just romance.

My chiron is in the 4th house and I often find relationships with venus in the 4th or in cancer.
I have a strong long term relationship with a Neptune in Capricorn.

Very likely true with my ex who had Venus in Virgo aspecting my Juno in Capricorn and his Juno conjunct my Neptune. The guy was crazy for me and I had to get away-but not a partnership.

Oh wow -

So if I have Juno in Pisces, then a Juno in Scorpio would work cuz that's what my Neptune's in?

gloria,

I'm afraid I must disagree with your keywords there.... I don't like how you put it: very.... hopeless attitude in there. not sure we need it.

Chiron is NOT about "the wound that never heals". Come-on! is such view helpful at all???

Chiron IS about a wound, the very one that we CAN HEAL and LEARN FROM the most. it's all about learning the hard way and thus having much experience with a specific "wound" and being able to help others heal it too!
in Mythology, Chiron is THE HEALER!!!! the God of Medicine! the first doctor.

Maybe it would be best to say that is a wound one NEVER FORGETS!

CERES was the goddess of the crops, so she's all about nurturing, our nurturing style, our ability to nurture another.

JUNO was the wife of Zeus/JUPITER, she was the protector of marriages. Since her husband was also the ruler of Gods, the Judge of all things, she rules over all sort of CONTRACTS or Legal commitments (marriage is such a legal commitment). Of course, it's about making it together, working as a couple, give away your individual power to share it with your SO.

PALLAS (aka Pallas-Athena) was the warrior goddess of WISDOM. it's supposed to be about inner strength and intuition. She's the one who directed arrows in battle on to their targets!

VESTA got her name from the Vestals - virgin priestesses serving in the temple, who devoted themselves to worshipping the Gods. so it's about diverting and using your sexual energy for creative-devotional-spiritual purposes instead of "plain-physical-primitive" sex. it's about sublimation!

(thanx to Chris Mitchell for his great interpretations)

Thank you, cristiname. I'm very much into my Greco-Roman mythos and when I saw Juno as ruling infidelity, I was like, "Huh?" From what I remember, she was the Hilary Clinton to Bill Clinton. LMAO. What I mean is, always there throughout all of Zeus' infidelities, except she would make those mistresses pay! LOL.

My Juno is in Sagitarius so for me it says:

quote:

"Juno in Sagittarius wants freedom for both partners in relationships. They will be happy with mates who bring travel and new interests into their lives. These natives can meet and overcome their problems, but they don't always. In several instances, these people were wed to their careers."

Juno in the tenth house is restrictive in relationships. These people take their career responsibilities so seriously that they overextend themselves. They are very particular about their actions in public, and would never openly challenge morals of the day. Matees may bring either honor or disgrace to these natives. Other people let them carry the burdens of responsibility. Sometimes these people work for their mates."

Which really disturbs me because I've been healing from heartbreak for sometime now. Now I'm looking for a profession and trying to put as much passion into a career as I do in relationships. And uh, my chart says mortician would be the best job for me. So, I'd be married to that kind of job? LOL. Well, Hades is my patron god.

Heh, TMI.

And I'm furthermore wondering what this means because my Juno and my moon are directly on top of each other.

Moon 20°36’ 6"
Juno 20°36’45"

It's just feeling more and more like my calling is to be the bride of Frankenstein.
